[Discussion] Bride of the Century

Ok, I just had to make a forum post about this show. I'm TOTALLY into this show. It's different, it's fun, both mains are doing an amazing job at acting... to the point where I honestly didn't recognize the actress as both roles! Oh... I need the OST, all I'm sayin'! The dubstep bg music they use in some scenes is awesome. Anyone else watching and love it like I do? Hongki Fighting!

Well I'll be honest I wasn't a fan of the 1st episode....but when the 2nd episode rolled around and I watched it. I started loving it. I love how the two leads are always bickering with each other and when their not they have these little moments of romance. The lead actress is hilarious! She made it so I could understand who was who of the twins. The first twin is very cold and the other twin has a warm feeling about her but it's the same actress in both roles...I'm impressed! For a time I couldn't tell that Lee Hong Ki was the heir of the Taeyang company...he was so serious a complete opposite of his usual self and his hair was darker....anyway he also is doing a really good job in his role. I'm loving this show. I have a feeling this will be really very good.

I watched first 2 episodes together so it quickly made me obsessed with it even the plot is not much different. Their acting is so well, I may watch all episodes again! love love love ittt!

That's not good, it seems like that I'm going to think about it all the time till the reality shows up. This drama will make me crazy :(

I can't even tell if the actress is the same in some of these. The ghosts' make up is really throwing me off.

But also, if you check the cast here, there's just one ghost listed: 성주신 (김아영)... Leaves me confused for sure.

for me it is more of a romance comedy with a tiny slice of mystery horror

@croire,it's less skeevy and creepy than substitute princess. i feel like this show is tapping into the classics. watching it reminds me of watching my name is kim samsoon, Full house and my girl. it's not art, but it's not supposed to be or trying to be. i rather like the way everything is unfolding. it's only ep 6 and we've already had more real character and plot development than a lot of last years rom coms were able to get into their entire 16+ episode runs. the most important thing about this fast pace is that nothing feels rushed and it doesnt feel like they're going to run out of plot before they run out of episodes.

main lead romance i can see, the 2nd lead was a bit too fast lol
