Synopsis
In the time of enlightenment of 19th-century Joseon. It stars a hero who is the son of Joseon’s greatest swordsman. He loses his father and younger sister, after which he trades sword for gun as he embarks on his revenge mission, and in so doing the drama will “depict the pain and courage of the young people of the era.”

I completely forgot the starting date for this drama... And so, today I quickly made my way through the first four episodes. So far so good? The ratings (8~9%) are surprisingly low - I was expecting higher numbers, given the really cool promo materials. But then again, episodes 1-4 didn't really grip me either but the pre-time skip backstories rarely do. Also I guess I didn't really focus for a moment and then suddenly there's a full-blown romance going on and I'm just wondering when did that happen. Huh. I have a feeling that this couple won't exactly become a favorite of mine...

I am not bothering with this one. I have decided that while I'm not blacklisting Lee Joon Ki, he's definitely gray listed (I will only watch a drama when an actor I REALLY like is co-starring). I hope everyone else enjoys it.

I'm watching, but I'm not amazed yet. I like that the female lead is -sort of- independent and has some scientific knowledge. I hope it will get better :).

I'm still on episode 6 but since from the beginning I'm seriously loving this drama! Has the trademark from the TPM makers, even the OST. Currently obsessing on it, please don't let me down drama.
