i just picked this up a few days ago. the only child to adult transition i'm really unahppy with in Wol. she's the chick from bad guy so i KNOW she is capible of acting, but she's coming across very flat in this for me.

How much did it cost to create Kim Soo Hyun?s ?Moon-Sun? costume?

It looks like MBC spared no expense for their hit drama, ?The Moon that Embraces the Sun?, as seen by the production costs for Kim Soo Hyun?s regal outfit.

On February 4th, MBC?s Director of Art Bong Hyeon Sook revealed, ?Kim Soo Hyun?s ?gonryongpo? costume was created by hand. Embroidering it alone took one month.? Reportedly, the cost of Kim Soo Hyun?s costume was 1.5 million won (~ $1,348.00 USD).

The scarlet coloring of the King?s everyday outfit combined with the knowledge that it was hand-embroidered certainly gives Kim Soo Hyun an extra sheen of majesty.

The actor has been gaining much popularity as the firm young king who remains loyal to the memory of his childhood love. ?The Moon that Embraces the Sun? also made headlines recently after it neared the 40% viewership rating with its latest episode.

The costumes are amazing. Since Hwang Jin Yi, they are (for me) the best costumes in a period drama. (well, I still have to watch goong and the princess man, so...) But my real cruch is for the dialogs. There is a real work in the riddles, and in all the dialogs of this drama, and I think it's part of its charm. Love this show. Can't wait for next episode (that cliffhanger grrrrrr!!!)

Ep. 11 was pretty much uneventful. But I meant to just watch the first minutes of the episode to see what happened and without realizing it, ended up seeing the whole thing and it's not even fully subbed...lol

This drama is making me feel cold...Just watch all this ice on the houses rooftop, and the smoke coming out of the actors's mouth....and what exactly are they wearing ??? It's wonderful to see those actor doing such a geat job acting...especially when they were dying of cold !

Didn't you see ??? last episode she almost smiled !!!! That certainly was an explosion of joy for her ! don't mind my post, it's a 404.....error (ok, exit Junko...) Seriously, did you recognize the kid in Iljimae as the young King ?????? 10 in Iljimae, 14 here ! Boy, boys do grow fast !
