i know nothing about korea really, but the fact that it's so pervassive in dramas makes me think that maybe it is socially acceptable to act like that on a lesser level, and it just gets blown out of porportion for the dramas.

i get that everyone has different tastes but these types of characters always make me want to puke, i'm just glad Woo Kyung isnt the main character like Oh Ha Ni or Bella Swan. if she were it would render the show unwatchable.

That scene was really cool. I got the fuzzies...lol->But Hyun Soo's face said Ji Hyuk was crazy. *sigh* I don't want that to happen but he is hungry for recognition. And that scene where Rock Jim and the teacher are talking about the three major things to avoid...are all slowly building up and how coincidental (not really), it will all involve Hyun Soo. The clues are being dropped already. *sigh*<-

I just finished watching episode 10. -> Seung-hoon makes me mad but I understand his feelings. He makes me mad because it's like he thinks that Su-ah has to love him back. Why wait till the last minute when she starts to like somebody else to admit your feelings to her. I also understand why he doesn't want to talk to Su-ah though. Su-ah needs to realize that he likes her and if he can't have her why should he have to pretend that he can just settle with being friends with her.

Hyun-soo makes me upset majority of his screen time. I think what annoys me about his character is that I knew he would be the character to probably leave the band. It's too many signs showing me that he would leave them if somebody gave him the opportunity. But then I have to understand that's his dream. Unlike the others who want to show Byung-hee's music to the world, Hyun-soo doesn't seem to think that way anymore. When the manager was demanding them to fix the song, Hyun-soo was the only one who was ready to change it. He's always challenging Ji-Hyuk about his leadership skills. Even I'll admit Ji-hyuk is not the best leader but the things Hyun-soo get mad at him about is not even Ji-Hyuk's fault.

Pyo-joo is a complete problem to me. I just wish his character never existed. I understand why he's mad but you shouldn't be bullying Su-ah for that. I love Su-ah for slapping him. <-

This drama is really worth watching in high quality, I mean it, the cameraman and director's work is great, I wonder every time... the play of lights and shadows is fantastic...

My opinion: Hmmm... I may not agree with you. I can't say that Hyun Soo's character is perfect and I like all about him, but let's get it straight, we all knew, that the boys love music passionately from the beginning, now here comes the conflict of interests, for Hyun Soo this is a great chance to show everybody who he is, his abilities, to become better than his parents are, to support them in the future. It is not his fault that the other boys don't see (or don't want to see) a chance of become famous and re-known musicians. This all started because of Byung-Hee, and I think nobody can argue, that Hyun-Soo was, if not the most, than second the most (after Ji-Hyuk) passionate about their performance for Byung-Hee's sake, as his last act. He was the one all pissed at him, he could not deliver his best performance and still 'torments' Ye-Rim with his icy stare:P
I am expecting his move out of the band, as he has dreams, and why should he criticized for not having the same dream, or seeing it the way the other guys do? But I am sure, his love for his friends is going to take the battle :) to be continued ^^
