Other than the Flower Boy gimmick, they probably aren't related at all. By calling it part of a series, they generate more viewers/interest in it.

finally another drama with such great acting. did i say great? i meant impressing, amazing, wonderful. first i saw Lee Min Ki acting and loved him since his very first scene. it really hurts my heart that he is a cameo in this drama. not only the pretty boys got my interest, but also because rock/indierock is played/focussed in the story. i think tis drama will b a HUGE hit as well. its gotta be.

Yeah, I knew his character -->would only be around 2 episodes, but I didn't know the poor guy would be going that way. <--

And yes, I loved his character.
