I have a friend from Texas who would really like to know B2ST's concert dates in the US or Canada. She said she has searched everywhere but could not find the specific dates. If anybody has any info on it, please please kindly send me a message. Thank you in advance. :*

Fathers of B2ST members to dance to “Fiction” on ‘Win Win’



Idol group B2ST recently participated in filming for the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘ and the boys were accompanied by their fathers.

This was the first time the boys were the only celebrity guests on a talk show performance, and therefore were able to openly talk about the difficult things they went through since their debut.

B2ST debuted in 2009, and the six-member idol group is celebrating their 3rd year anniversary in October.

The boys won the ‘Song of the Year‘ award at KBS Music Festival last year, and not only are they one of the leading boy groups in the nation, they have made their breakthrough in other parts of Asia as well as overseas in Europe.

But each of the members were released from other agencies before forming ‘B2ST’ at Cube Entertainment, and have been referred to as the ‘recycled group’. They talked about how much this title had hurt them, and what it took for them to become one of the greatest idol groups in Korea.

All 6 of the members’ fathers also guest-featured on the program, showcasing their hidden dance moves by performing the boys’ hit song “Fiction“. The fathers also shared some stories about their sons, offering both laughs and tears to the audience.



2AM‘s Jo Kwon who is known to be close friends with the members also served as a one-time MC for the episode.

B2ST's Dong Woon Almost Joined 2PM

B2ST's Son Dong Woon revealed that he almost debuted under the JYP label. He revealed how he almost joined Nichkhun and Ok TaecYeon as a member of 2PM.

On the episode of "Win Win," which is to air on February 21, the members of B2ST revealed the behind-the-story episodes of why they were called, "Recycled Idols." Many of the current B2ST members used to be trainees under JYP and YG.

Four B2ST members used to be JYP trainees. 2AM's Jo Kwon said, "Lee Kikwang and I were supposed to debut in a five member group and Son Dong Woon was supposed to debut in the six member group, 2PM with Nichkhun and TaecYeon." One group was to represent exceptional vocal skills whereas the other group was to represent visual aesthetics during their debut showcase.

However, the group that shone during the showcase was neither Lee Kikwang's five member group or Son Dong Woon's six member group. It was the Wonder Girls. Son Dong Woon exclaimed, "The girls were too good during the showcase. The males were clearly outshone."

Lee Kikwang also stated, "[I]As soon as we saw the Wonder Girls', we were like, 'What is this?' We were all excited for our five member, six member group but all of a sudden these girls came out of nowhere," as he reminisced. He also revealed all of their close relationships by saying, "Jo Kwon could've been a B2ST member and I could've been a 2AM member."

B2ST‘s Yong Junhyung and Yang Yoseob revealed that they were almost cut from the group.

On the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, the members admitted, “[I]While we were preparing for our debut, Yoseob and Junhyung hyung were nearly kicked out of the group.”

“Before our debut, B2ST’s concept was to be fierce and masculine,” Yoseob began. “But I was thin and on the shorter side, so my image didn’t really fit in with the image the company was preparing. While I was rehearsing, I received notice that I would have to quit the group.”

“Before I left, I decided to film a video of all of us just comfortably goofing around,” he continued. “Senior Rain happened to see this video and said, ‘This kid plays well. Why are you cutting him? Don’t drop him!’, and recognized my potential. I earned a second chance after that, thanks to him,” reminiscing and revealing his grateful heart towards Rain.

Yong Junhyung also shared, “I knew that I would be cut a week before I heard the news, by chance I happened to see the notes of a staff member, and it was written that I would be dropped.” He went on to state that he was able to join the group later thanks to the other members.
