Sums up important useful story from Prequel

Seems everyone immersed their self  in this drama so I decided watched a prequel and pretty much sums up entire story to fills holes in LYF . First of all a characters have different names so it might be confusing. So I 'd rather use Mo for Xiao Yao's mom and Chi Yun for Xiao Yao's dad.

- Chenrong Kingdom and Xiyan Kingdom is in war. Haoling Kingdrom is neutral in this conflict and both Chengrong and Xiyan don't want offend Haoling and drag them into war.
- Chi Yun The Demon General is Xiao Yao's dad. Mo is Xiyan Princess. Their relationship is underground, few people knew their relationship. Not even Xiyan King or royal family members know it.

-Mo married Haoling King ( at that time Haoling Princess)for political alliance. Haoling King knew Xiao Yao is Chi Yun's daughter but he promised to take care of her like his own daughter.
- Youth flower on Xiao Yao's forehead sealed by Mo. Youth flower only appears when there is strong kinship. So another clue which person Xiao Yao's loves or when she don't care. The purpose of it so Chi Yun or Mo can find their daughter if separated.
- Xiao Yao already meet his dad face to face but her mom do not told her.

-Mo once died and she revived by demonized herself, she can unleash this cursed power if she is desperate or in deep trance ( kinda like Scarlet Witch). She use this power try to stop a war. 

-Fox tail is a gift from  Xao Yao's dad instead her mother. He is the one beat the Fox.
- Plot twist : Mo is not dead but live in secluded somewhere else. She keep promise to Chi Yun to keep living. IDK if LYF gonna following that or have her appears again.

- Mo have firebird beast companion, Sunflare. Mo trusted Xiao Yao to her. But Xiao Yao escaped from Mt Jade and Sunflare probably lost her as well. Technically she could appears anytime in LYF so if she appears, you knew who she is. 

- Madam Yu of Mt Jade is mentor of so many characters, Mo, Chi Yun and Yunsang. She have power to become young if she want to but she do not do it cause no one appreciate her beauty anymore.
- Xiao Yao's mom had two older brothers. Yuncheng and Changzou. Yucheng was capable and protective of all his siblings. Changzou is soft and kind like Jing. Sadly both died fought Chenrong. If not, Xuan and Xiao Yao should have an amazing 1st and 2nd uncle.
- Xiao Yao's grandma spent her old day gloomy and unhappy for a reasons. First it because Xiyan King married another consorts and she feels extremely betrayed. Second she lost so many sons to Chengrong.
- Xiyan King was pos that sending his own kids to fight and dead against Chengrong. Even Mo needs to fight. Xiao Yao's grandma absolutely hated him for this.
- Xiao Yao's mom fav food is frozen mullbery
- ChenRong was ruled by not king but woman, Royal Princess Yunsang and she is close friend of both Xiao Yao's parents.
- Yunsang is slay queen. Really multilayered character. Soft character but also politically cunning.
- Chenrong was full of psychotic demon generals that equals to Xiang Liu or worse. They constantly killing people,scheming and always tried usurping the throne. The fact, Yunsang can commanding them which makes she is so badass.  
- Yunsang have a younger brother that become ChengRong King. Even that Yunsang is a headfigure behind a scene that make important political decision for the kingdom. Chenrong King do not last long, he died on battlefield which forced Yunshang to become ruler again.
- Chi Yun was protector of Yunsang and sworn brother of Chenrong King.

- Chenrong had so many traitors, internal fighting and lead by rather pacifist soft Princess was their downfall. Even if Chenrong had strong general like Chi Yun but he can't fight million of army alone.
- Yunsang kill herself after devastating collapse of Chenrong.

Yes it was awful. Costumes also so tacky.  I need to forced myself to get through. At least, Yunsang is interesting character , acted rather nicely and exciting to follow.  She looks like Galadriel. FL and ML love story kinda typical and predictable.

Hahaha.  Princess Yunshang is the only one who looked normal in that drama.  The costumes were so awful.

Huang Xiao Ming's haircut?  OMG.  I laughed every time I watched his scenes in the first few episodes.  But, once his hair became longer, he looked awesome.

LOL. Girl costumes looks like they going to wedding party as bridesmaid .  I bet back than their resource was so limited and they borrow a costumes to nearby boutique.  Worst hair style probably that Xiyan King, he looks like so weird.

I hope they reshoot Once Promised with CGIs and costumes.  Just borrow the costumes from LYF!!!

She forced to married Haoling King ( at that time still Prince ) for alliance . However Haoling King loved her and devoted for her. Thus he promised to keep Xiao Yao.  She only loved Chi Yun but it get harder and harder to tell the world their relationship especially Xiyan and Chenrong was in war.

Yes. It needs remake with similar production of LYF. I think prequel story is more grand and epic with war between kingdoms.

I hope the bad hairstyle and awful wardrobe will not make another appearance!

its all coming together now. im absolutley loveing it. hope season 2 dont take too long be to aired.
