Why is this called Lost You 4Ever?

Why is the title like that?  Who lost who forever?

If the drama meant "lost you forever (wink wink as in be found later)", doesn't that kind of cheat/lie to the viewer?

Somehow I think titles like "Never See You Again S1" not appropriate because "Forever" really only means a few decades of drama's time!  So, instead of "Lost You A Dozen Decades", "Lost You Forever" sounds much more kool and groovy...

The better title is, "Yearning for You".

I agree. If you directly translate 長相思, It's like eternity (or for a long long time) yearning for you or like Miss you forever. I don't know why they translated as Lost You Forever.   My home country also did the same translation, , LOST .....

Lost You Forever sounds more tragic.  Which is true as Chang Xuan lost Xiao Yao due to him killing TSJ which she would never be able to accept him as a partner in marriage.

Se o drama significasse “perdi você para sempre (piscadela como ser encontrado mais tarde)”, esse tipo de trapaça / mentira para o espectador?

O protagonista masculino da novel é o Cang Xuan e a narrativa acompanha como ele acaba perdendo Xiao Yao para sempre por conta das escolhas que fez, provavelmente por isso optaram por essa tradução.
