Ep 4

-Li Changge steals the royal seal and avoids capture with the aid of A'Dou  who shows an uncanny ability to understand her. LC finally accepts A'Dou as her disciple.
-A'Sun gets the report of LC's escape and is very curious about her identity. He guesses she will need a way out of Chang'an undetected.
-Li ShiMin learns Changge has got away and Mr Fang chides Mr Du for undermining his majesty's amnesty by his use of force.  Mr Du retaliates and gets the concession to send plain clothes men to find LC alive.
-Du Ruhui goes against orders and tells HaoDu to kill Changge because he thinks she planted the message on the slip of paper and spread rumours and she stole the Seal to overthrow LSM. Du is willing to face the concequences; he'll brook no argument and Hao Du is loyal to his foster father.
-Haodu discovers a clue from the slip of paper and dangles a bait which leads him to A'Sun also Li Changge's diguise is foiled and they both go on the run and bump into each other once again .  LC takes A'Sun's horse and evades capture but loses the fish token implicating Yu Shu who is threatened into helping HaoDu.
-Disguised as Hu merchants A'Sun once again bumps into LC and agreees to hide her amongst his goods but in exchange for her dagger.  A'Dou promises to meet LC in Shili Pavilion in three days. Ya Luo notices A'Sun is more talkative around LC.  Hao Du's search is fruitless and the caravan exits Chang'an.  HaoDu sends troops to Shili Pavilion to lay in await for LC.
-The scene cuts to a funny exchange between Li ShiMin and Minister Fang where both acknowledge responsibility but also relief at LC's escape.
- A'Sun and crew have a laugh at Changge's expense when she is unloaded from the the Persian aphrodisiac; She's affected like a girl A'Sun says and throws water on her face to revive her. He takes the dagger but gives her another horse to underline the end of their association.
-Li Shi Min visits Wei Zheng,  supporter and  former minister of his brother who has as yet resisted allegiance but is an important ally.
-Li Changge is intercepted by HaoDu and Yu Shu but gallops away rather than be taken prisoner.  Cornered, she jumps a broken bridge over a ravine and loses her horse but grabs a rope in time.  Hao Du draws his arrow but Yu Shu pre-empts him and LC watches in disbelief as he shoots an arrow into her shoulder, loosening her grip and plunging her into the river below. HaoDu taunts grief-sticken YuShu to search for the body.
-LiShiMin tells Wei Zhang he wants him as his advisor but the latter refuses and goads LSM into killing him, because he would rather die as a loyal man.   Fang Xuan Ling intervenes and removes LSM.
-Amazingly, A'Sun is at the riverbank and spots a body in the water.

My title is: 'Act of betrayal' because Changge cannot believe her childhood friend betrays her. This is the most significant scene from this episode for me.

HappyBirdEgg's title would be 'help from the unknown, betrayal from the known' which is well liked by Songfalcon  considering Chang Ge had received help from her "enemy" and had been betrayed by someone she once called "friend.".

WK1 notes that more and more, Changge is coming into contact with Ashile Sun. They both do not know each other's identity at this point, but are somewhat fascinated with each other.
WK1's title is: Escape from Chang'An because  after failing with her revenge attempt in E3 it is increasingly difficult for LC to hang around Chang'An.

According to Songfalcon the scenes that stood out most were the moments where A'Sun and Chang Ge continuously cross paths in their times of need. Within this episode alone they have encountered each other three times. For Songfalcon 3 is considered a magic and perfect number. One of its spiritual meanings is that it represents past, present, and future. A'Sun was present in all parts of Chang Ge's journey since the beginning.  Both Chang Ge and A'Sun had been fated from the start, so Songfalcon's title for this episode would be "Fateful Encounters."

WK1 likes this title and feels that the beauty of this drama adaptation [is that] they just brought all those GeSun moments right to the front end of the drama (compared to the manhua) and very signficantly changed CGX.
If the screenwriters had followed the manhua, none of their encounters from E1-E4 would have happened. Indeed, not even those from E5 to practically E20 or so.

Songfalcon comments that although [she] likes how Sun had found about Chang Ge' gender in the manhua, [she] prefers the drama for this aspect [and]  enjoys a good romance, and although the drama itself wasn't romance heavy.

Hope you guys  don't mind that I just paraphrased your comments!

It is ok. Love your paraphrasing. I think we can now delete all the comments in the comments section related to your summary of E4
