In some cases, the FL is resurrected, reincarnated, reborn, revealed to have actually survived (even though her death was mourned), or her imminent death is only strongly implied.
- +1 One and Only - At the end, along with the ML. I haven't watched it, but my understanding is that Forever and Ever is about the ML and FL's reincarnations in modern times.
- +1 The King's Woman - The drama ends with the ML and FL facing off in a sword fight, and it's heavily implied that the ML will kill the FL (and possibly vice versa) moments after the drama's end.
- The Smile Has Left Your Eyes - At the end, along with the ML + by his side.
- The Legends - The FL dies in the first half of the drama and is mourned by the ML, but she is resurrected years later. She sort of dies again (her soul goes to a sort of purgatory) a few more times in the second half of the drama.
- Legend of Fu Yao - At the end of the drama, along with the ML.
- The Red Sleeve - At the end of the drama.
- Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo - The FL is from modern times, but her soul travels back to ancient Joseon and inhabits the body of a noblewoman. At the end of the drama, the body of the noblewoman dies, and the FL wakes up in modern times. The ML and SML mourn the FL's death in the past.
- Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty - The FL is from modern times, while the ML is from ancient China. The ML first visits the FL in modern times (from his perspective, in his dreams), then the FL travels back to ancient China. At the end of the drama, both the FL and the ML die in ancient times.
- A Korean Odyssey - At the end of the drama. There's a semi-open ending that implies that the ML (a demi-god) might try to resurrect her.
- Prince of Lan Ling - At the end of the drama. IMO, it's one of the worst / most unsatisfying FL deaths.
- Gu Family Book - The ML and FL live in ancient times. The ML is part gumiho, making him immortal. The FL dies near the end of the drama, and the ML waits centuries in order to meet her reincarnation in modern times.
- The Rise of Phoenixes - At the end of the drama. IMO, it's one of the worst / most unsatisfying FL deaths.
- The Hymn of Death - At the end, along with the ML + by his side.
- The Blue Whisper: Part 2 - The FL "dies" but she sort of had two lives and only one of them ends. She is reborn as a baby fox spirit and is raised by the SML. She matures quickly but doesn't have her memories of her previous life for a while. Near the end of the drama, the FL is sealed inside a volcano along with the villain for years (which is similar to dying / seems like a death sentence), and the ML has to hope she survives + waits for her to return to him.
- Love Between Fairy and Devil - The FL dies in the second half of the drama, and the ML resurrects her.
- Alchemy of Souls - The FL dies at the end of part one. In part two, it's revealed that she survived (more or less), but lost her memories. The ML mourns her death for years.
- Till the End of the Moon - The FL is an immortal. Her sect is massacred by the devil god. To prevent this tragedy from happening, the FL travels 500 years into the past where she meets the original mortal who will eventually become the devil god (the ML). Her soul takes over the body of his mortal wife. Eventually, that mortal body dies, and the FL wakes up in her own time - where the tragedy appears to have been avoided. The ML doesn't know about the FL's true origins as an immortal and mourns the her death + searches for her soul (so he can resurrect her) for 500 years.
- Marriage Contract - It's heavily implied that the FL will die from her terminal illness shortly after the drama ends.
