Don't know if you are into Thai Dramas/Lakorns, but they're known for their "slap and kiss" plots... A few lakorns I've seen once and remember that has abusive MLs:
Kluen Cheewit (ML really hates FL 'cause she killed his fiance. Ever since they have a hate, hate, hate and then love story that changes him and his view on FL)
Raeng Tawan (ML is agressive and has no sense of how to behave but he gets better after falling for FL)
Mon Rak Asun (agressive ML and he has an annoying little kid, but ML also gets better after falling)
Wong Wian Hua Jai (This actually traumatized me. Very toxic ML, he treats her really bad. He's abusive, paranoid, agressive and manipulative. The worst ML I've seen. The more episodes, the worse he gets. And it doesn't stop there: FL's family is awful, never supports her. )
