I am looking for a drama where the male or female lead comes from a different country from the other main lead (North Korea is also included if its a kdrama)

  • Crash Landing on You - The obvious one.
  • Her Private Life - Both leads were born in South Korea, but the FL grew up in South Korea while the ML was raised in the US. They meet as adults at an art auction in China.
  • Empress Ki - The FL is from ancient Korea. The ML is from ancient China.
  • Mr. Sunshine - Both leads were born in South Korea, but the FL grew up in South Korea while the ML was raised in the US. The ML returns to South Korea as a US citizen serving in the US military as part of a diplomatic mission.

Do you have any interest in historical dramas where the leads are from different kingdoms that later become one country in modern times (e.g., different kingdoms from ancient china)? Or fantasy historical dramas where the leads are from different kingdoms or worlds?

Yeah, I am interested in those type of dramas as well if you have any suggestions. Thanks for the previous ones, I haven't seen Her Private Life yet so maybe I will give that a try.

Massan - asadora based on lives of Japanese whiskey distiller and his Scottish wife
