Like the FL is supposed to portray a girl in her 15-16... and the ML is close to his 40-45-ish...

Something along with the ML basically just sees the FL as an innocent, naive child/teen and its not until she grows both in age/character/experience and whatever he starts getting romantic feelings for her.

Before he perhaps saw himself more of a parent/older brother/uncle -figure for her. So he didn't get jealous if she had a lover and wanted to go after him, instead perhaps he encouraged her to experience her own youth and find her own happiness.

You asked for recommendations right?

One drama that i can think of is the story of minglan

Touch
Forbidden Flower
Dating in the kitchen
Vacation of Love - so here you have different couples, who are all interlinked to one another. One is about An older woman/younger guy romance and one is about an older guy/younger woman romance (with a huge age gap).

Itaewon Class
Perfect & Casual
Coffee Prince

I'd second Eternal Love of Dream, that's one of my all time faves, and the age gap is part of what makes it kind of twisted-sexy.  There's not a lot in the way of skinship or kiss scenes, but there is a BIT.  Usually that bothers me in romances, but in this one it didn't.
