Hello!

I'm seeking a recommendation for a storyline where:

The female protagonist (F1) has feelings for a man (M1) who is in love with another woman (F2). Simultaneously, there's another male character (M2) who is fond of F1, even though her feelings for him aren't initially reciprocated.

Bonus: In the end, the story unfolds with F1 and M2 forming a romantic connection, while M1 finds love with F2, resulting in a satisfying resolution for all four characters. It's not a dead giveaway, we need some angst before the characters are together.

It just tugs my heart strings when female lead is heartbroken over her crush but somebody loves you babe, they were there all along waiting for you ><

I saw this trope:

*Reply 1988 ( I rewatched it again ), should I give 1997 a try I found the FLs annoying in first episode ?

*All of us are dead (oof plus it was a thriller, I loved it)

*Golden spoon ( read the webtoon, didn't finish the series,).

Non kdrama:

Gossip girl (lol blair and chuck pairing was cute), Nana, Vampire Knight, Kiznaiver.

I am new to kdrama, started binge watching last year. Reply 1988 was gateway to kdrama for me and it was so refreshing, different from things I usually watch.

Any region drama is welcomed, western tv series and anime too. Its one of the tropes i like lol. THANKS!! :D

man you made me nostalgic with mentioning gossip girl and Kiznaiver.

Now since you are open to pretty much all:

For Anime:
- Kuzu no Honkai
- Zetsuen no Tempest - this one is slightly tricky since there isn't per say a 2nd couple. It is more one couple that is confronted with a tricky situation and another couple emerging from it.
- Dusk Maiden of Amnesia

For Western dramas:
- Vampire Diaries
- Elite
- Riverdale
- The OC (though this one is older but back when gossip girl got first released it reminded me the most of the OC)

And for asian drama:
Romance is a bonus book
Hospital Playlist
When Camellia blooms

These dramas kinda fit the description:

For anime maybe:

They are not exactly the same situation but very similar.
