Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a drama which would have characteristics of a devoted ML, individually independent (or having consistency in their unique skills throughout the series), mentally strong characters. A good, playful banter is always a plus for a romantic drama.
Regarding the second point, many dramas seem to introduce (especially FLs) as having this amazing skill (be it martial arts or something else) but once they fall in love with ML they lose it and become dependent on ML.
What I really liked about My Dearest and My Dearest Part 2 is that FL stayed resourceful and independent throughout the series. Not to say she didn't need help but for all the help she received, she gave much in return. In the end both FL and ML saved each other enough times to lose count and make it equal all the while having enough strength to survive the harsh enviroment on their own (when separated).
P.s. drama recommendations doesn't have to be historical though I'm kind of in the mood for historical ones.
P.s.s. both hetero and BL recommendations are okay.
P.s.s.s. while I'm looking for an asian drama if there's a western show that would fit this I'd gladly check it out also.
