Action/ Romance movie, with a good ending.

Hello, I'm in the mood for a good action movie, with a kick arse lead. I like the whole assassin/secret agent/gangs element but I'm finding it really hard to find a good movie where the lead doesn't die in the end. There has to be just that little hint of romance in there, I'm just one of those people, but I did really enjoy a man from nowhere because you could see he really cared about the little girl.
