I would never recommend a serious historical to someone who doesn't like historicals..The moon embracing the sun and princess man...don't watch them...serious and kinda boring.... But hong gil dong only gets bad in that last episode lol (so just don't watch the last one) The first episode is crazy and nothing like the rest of the drama lol I thought "what the heck?" when I watched it too. other great dramas you should watch and skip the last episode are http://www.mydramalist.com/korean-drama/76/bad-guy,http://www.mydramalist.com/korean-drama/118/iljimae,http://www.mydramalist.com/korean-drama/2196/warrior-baek-dong-soo

http://www.mydramalist.com/korean-drama/39/sungkyunkwan-scandal has a happy prefect ending I think you might like it The comic relief really carries the show :D and he is a cutie
sad endings? hmm not that I remember... oh but Soulmate's ending may be somewhat unsatisfactory since the show initially was to have a second season to follow up supposedly, but wasn't picked up later on.
lol where did bad guy and Illjamae links go?
^ ah yes, Sungkyunkwan Scandal really nice ending to sum the show indeed. Some of the ppl I've recommended it to who aren't fond of the historical genre ended up enjoying that. Personally really liked that one as well. & yes, drama has some good looking ppl! haha :P
Pantheria wrote: Sleepninja: I guess Nobuta wo Produce age & above is what I personally prefer. Uhmmm I guess they are around 16/17 in that? Not really sure how the Japanese school system works tbh. Had a look at the age thread, thanks for bumping so it was easy to find. Still seem to be above the average age LOL. It's ok though since I don't look my age XD; that's all that matters he he!

lol Well I'm pretty sure the dramas I recommended are around the 16/17 age, so that works. :)
since you say you have a short attention span why not try a movie instead :_
Goldenseal50: Ah had a look at my other lists & looks like I did actually try Sungkyunkwan Scandal as well & dropped it halfway through the first EP again LOL. Uhmmm but you prompted me to have a look again & seems there is a condensed movie version which I may check out or may even just give the drama another shot since everyone is always recommending it to me. I plan on doing that with the IRIS versions since I couldn't get past the first EP of that drama either. Thanks for all the ideas. :)

WontonDumpling: Ok thanks for letting me know. :)

Sleepninja: Yup works great then, thanks.

RainFlower: I have actually seen quite a few Asian Movies as well. 175+ (Current list is in my LJ link). All the ones I can think of I really want to see are still not currently subbed yet or since MU went down impossible to find. But I'm open to suggestions for movies as well if there is anything that I may have missed. :)
Do you like horror movies?
No not a fan of horror movies or anything too scary tbh. Too much a chicken XD!
