If you'd like to check my list to see what I'm interested in or have seen feel free. Any genre is fine really as long as you highly recommend it. Thanks in advance!

Not much on your list so I'm not sure what you like but these dramas are for me a must watch (I like romance almost exclusively):
Kimi wa Petto
Hana Yori Dango
Hungry!
Nodame Cantabile
Otomen
Hana Kimi (or the remake which I actually liked better!)
Itazura na Kiss - Love in Tokyo

(these below have much less romance)
Yokai Ningen Bem
Tumbling
Gokusen

Hana Kimi is a must watch!
buzzer beat, nodame cantabile, rich man poor woman, and attention please are also good.
I hope I can show you a new perspective from others.
I have to say my all time favorite Japanese drama is robo and sexy voice. It stars the same guy that played L in the deathnote movies.
so here are my recommendations:
Sexy Voice and Robo (drama) with Matsuyama Kenichi ( it makes you really think about some wild life stuff but it has funny and sad and even scary moments.)
All three Death Note Movies. (it's all about black and white and "L" for me)
Welcome to Fortune-Telling Onmyo Shop ( very hilarious and full of charm.)

I looked at your full list and i also loved Usagi drop. It is very cool. Second love was just awesome but i did not complete it for some reason. I think I did not want to know what the end was because I want to always think of them as deeply in love.
Have fun in your exploration of Asian ( Japanese specifically) dramas.
Some awesome historical dramas are made by both Korea and China. I am now totally addicted to wuxia ( kung fu drama) and i even invested some time to learn about the philosophy behind Korean sword fighting. It's pretty amazing that they defend from three sides. The inner Chi ( Qi) of Chinese drama is super exaggerated in the historical movies but I love that! So keep an open mind and choose more by genre than country and you will be a lot happier.
If you want any kung fu or wuxia recommendations let me know!!
