Virgin Road - Our unmarried heroine Kazumi finds herself pregnant and, coming back home to Japan at her father's request, is afraid to face him under those conditions. Desperate for at least a temporary fix, she pays a (handsome!) stranger she meets on the plane to pretend to be her fiancee in front of her family while she decides how she wants to handle the situation (she wants to raise the baby as a single mom but she thinks her father won't approve). Kaoru's actually a freelance writer and agrees to the set-up with the ulterior motive of secretly using her situation to write an article. As they get to know each other better, and Kaoru is gradually accepted into Kazumi's family, the line between fact and fiction starts to blur. I LOVE this drama, not only the romance but also Kazumi's relationship with her father, which was so wonderfully depicted imo.
