Historical romance dramas with painfully beautiful male leads with long hair >_<

Like the male leads in the journey, ten mile of peach blossom and scarlet hair ryeo. I love guys with long hair! >_< so handsome! Any suggestions? Some actors are so friggin gorgeous, much more prettier than the female lead lol

If you're looking for some eye candy and not necessarily a good romance historical I'd suggest to check out Hwarang - The romance was a bit messy and I personally preferred the bromance aspect of the drama, but when it comes to eye candy it's a galore of handsome & cute men. (it's practically an embodiment of the song "It's raining men")

The cast includes of: notable actor Park Seo-Joon, a few idols (idol-turned-actor Park Hyung-Sik, Minho from SHINee, and Kim Tae-Hyung (V) from BTS), and a few lesser known actors that usually play side roles (Do Ji-Han, Kim Hyun-Joon, and Jo Yoon-Woo)

Also worth it for the Lee Kwang-Soo cameo in the first 2 episodes if you're a fan of Running Man

Return of the condor heroes with Huang Xiaoming

Takeru Satoh as Kenshin in Rurounin Kenshin

And Last Kingdom... with Alexander Dreymon... hehe wanted to add him even though it probably is not what you are looking for..

The Princess' Man - male lead doesn't start out with long hair but does have the mane of glory for most of the drama. Very romance-oriented, a little political. I rolled my eyes a lot but apparently lots of people loved it. A solid watch.

Warrior Baek Dong Soo - just look at all the hair in that poster! A word of warning that there is not a huge amount of romance in this one, though. (And the extension made the middle draaaaaggy.) But pretty boys with flowing locks it does have for sure.

Legend - Aged better than I thought it would have (from 2007). Does have romance and a love triangle of sorts. Not sure I would consider Bae Yong Joon a pretty sort of hero but he's got the hair, at least.

Chuno - My top pick of these recs I'm giving. There is lots of hair involved, romance and bromance.

Started the last kingdom with my mom a while back for funzies and we both about swallowed our tongues the first time he showed up as an adult.

Lol, although what I'm going to recommend aren't dramas but historical movies, but yes, they have painfully beautiful male leads with long hair (in my opinion) XD

Duelists (Kang Dong Won as the role Sad Eyes truly looks like a character walked out from manga XD)

Kundo: Age of the rampant (Most of the time, Kang Dong Won has been the painfully beautiful villain male lead with expert sword-fighting skills, but when his top-knot cut, in just few monents, he became painfully beautiful long-haired devil villain male lead with expert sword-fighting skills, lol)

I think you would find this more in chinese historical dramas, I have nothing against Korean dramas I actually prefer Kdramas but what I seen in historical korean dramas they used more the bun thing on the top of the head. Yes they do have some with longer hair like Scarlet Heart and a few mention above, But I see the long hair down is used more in Chinese Historical dramas. And the ones with the younger cast the guys look pretty more than the girls.

I’m not recommending the dramas below I’m just sending you examples of what I mean that in chinese dramas most of the the guys have long hair.

Oh My General but it's only 10 episodes out of 60 subbed at the minute but i'm enjoying it.
Perfect couple.
