Watched this film last night, enjoyed it a lot, looking for something similar.

That's a tough one, because I see by your list that you have already seen The Great Passage (another movie based on the novel by the same author).

I'd recommend Dearest. It does not have exactly the same feel as Wood Job, but it's a very warm story about a widower travelling through Japan and meeting peculiar individuals with their own problems.

little forest, it got the similar escape from the city to the woods vibe. also the scenery is really beautiful.

Warm and touching movie about challenges and achievements. Has a similar vibe to Wood Job although different story.
