Does anyone know of a drama, in which the main leads are together from more or less the beginning, go through hardships together, are always faithful and with a happy ending?

Pretty high expectations, right?

But somehow in all the shows I've watched so far it took ages until the couple finally get together...

Would really love some recommendations!

It's an older drama but Golden Bride checks all the boxes.

Story of Ming Lan,  they don't get together until around episode 39 out of 73, but once they get together, they stay together and support each other  no matter what, also ML stays completely faithful to FL  despite some characters trying to change that, happy ending.

Great! Thank you! So happy there actually is a drama that fits :-)

I've never watched Korean before, but since it checks all boxes I will definitely give it a try. Don't mind it being from 2007 at all.

And Story of Ming Lan sounds really cool, too. (Knowing when they get together helps as well.) Heard some great things about this drama - can't believe I've missed it.

Got to say Love O2O,  though you've probably already watched it.

Kinda Lawless Attorney (Officially starts coupling Ep. 6, cute stuff before though)

Kinda The Eternal Love- not Thousand Miles of PB/Eternal Love (Misunderstanding midway, cleared pretty sharpish... bit strange, two souls in one body etc. so I dunno)

I really second Story of Minglan, first 40 eps have a good plot, just keep with it and the relationship is adorable.

Do you mind misunderstandings, like where they go away, believed dead, get scared and don't commit etc. but still stay true, I find it annoying sometimes but...?

Hey Thousand_Paper_Cranes, thanks for your reply.

I think I have come to find misunderstandings totally annoying. I always think: "People, just talk! Geez!" As for believed dead an such, only if all is cleared up. Watched Nirvana in Fire and those misunderstandinds were well set and dealt with in the story, as the outline was brilliant...

To you recs:

Love O2O - watched it, of course ;-)

Lawless Attorney - is Korean. Will give it a try, one day. K-dramas are supposed to be really good. But I like to understand a little while watching, so I'll wait with that for a while.

The Eternal Love - loved it, too

Story of Minglan - I think I will start binge watching it now. Kind of can't decide wether to watch The Legends or Minglan. Can't wait to see both.

 iKdrama IS TEAM HARU :

ONE SPRING NIGHT

Korean again... Synopsis sounds sweet. Well, one day ;-)

Thanks for recommending

Hey ahsaaful,

I've been stumbling upon Cinderella Chef a few times now. Have you watched it? Someone in the comments said: it should be tagged with Misunderstanding and Betrayal... It is like that? Betrayal is the worst to me... What do you think?

Prince of Lan Ling - have you watched it? Does it have a sad endling?

Cinderella Chef,  I watch it and like it very much.

For what you're wonder about, I think the betrayal if you would say there is some then it's because of the Hidden Identity but it wasn't between the male\female lead as I think and yes there was some misunderstanding between them because of the Hidden Identity too.

For Prince of Lan Ling  Yes, it has a sad ending.

Thanks for clearing it up for me. Will start CC soon then :-)

I guess PoLL will have to wait a little until I can handle sad endings better...

Hi, you can checkout my list I made two list

Relationship dramas and drama with no breakup and zero to least misunderstanding couple

 https://mydramalist.com/list/1NkRXVqL

https://mydramalist.com/list/73Dxr8J3

You can always make a search in mydramalist with the tag  : Fast Paced Romance.  Besides the ones told here, I do not have any personal suggestion unfortunately.

https://mydramalist.com/search?adv=titles&th=3081&so=relevance&page=2

Here, the ones from China, Hong Kong or Taiwan:

https://mydramalist.com/search?adv=titles&co=2,5,4&th=3081&so=relevance

From these I have watched and enjoyed « Devil Beside You » and « Oh My Emperor ». But I do not remember well the plot to be able to tell if they meet  all of your requirements. I have not appreciated « Tree in a River » neither »Triad Princess ».  Maybe other members could say more about them.
