Specifically, I'm looking for a modern-day rom-com that:
-- captured your attention from the very first episode.
-- left an impression and made you feel awed
-- has a female lead who isn’t too much of an airhead
-- has great acting and good chemistry between the leads
-- is an overall very heart-warming drama
-- preferably has lots of funny moments, but if it goes for the serious side of things I want it to go all the way, with complex characters and thought-provoking storyline instead of a silly, shallow plot.
It has to be a modern drama. No sageuks or other historical dramas please.

Nobuta wo Produce (not necessarily a rom-com, but it has the comedy and the schoolyard one-sided crushes, and this one is both funny and thought-provoking which is just the best)

Personal Taste (Maybe not the best drama out there but the chemistry between the leads is the best I’ve seen. They make a really cute couple.)
Who are You? (2008) (It’s absolutely hilarious with body-swapping hijinks galore)
