Smart hero obsessed/VERY in love with smart heroine

These might be fit, but I am not 100% sure:

Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me (I really loved this drama although the 2. season was not the best. Male Lead and Female Lead are both intelligent. However The Male Lead was in love with someone else before and she comes back in the 2. Season after a long time and he is troubled because of that. He is not madly in love with the Female lead and it is not a drama with a mind blowing chemistry or awesome production. The acting can feel also a bit bad and weird That´s why I don´t know if you would like it)
Graceful Family (The´re both definitely smart but it is not THAT outstanding. Also, the romance in this one is not the main part)
Princess Agents (I think of all my recommendations, this might be the best fit)
The Tale of Nokdu (Both are smart but it is not that outstanding. Great acting, great chemistry)

I like you taste because these are exactly my type of dramas but I never found dramas, that fits perfect. Thanks for you list^^

Empress Ki. A love triangle , one of the ML’s is obsessed / deeply in love with the FL(and yes he’s handsome and Powerful, in fact he’s the emperor) , his whole world revolves around her. The FL is strong, beautiful with brains.

"Love Like the Galaxy" is a more recent drama that fits this thread. It had everything I wanted in a romance (both leads are smart/capable; ML is obsessive and powerful; first half of the drama brilliantly adapted its novel counterpart), but sadly doesn't quite live up to its potential in the end. The FL's character becomes inconsistent in the second half, the writing takes a turn for the worse along with some terrible editing, and the romance loses steam towards the end. I wish the romance trajectory followed the novel source material more. But overall, it's very much a drama worth watching and had me so obsessed and engrossed in the first half. The FL in the first half is chef's kiss: Smart, edgy, calm/collected, and nuanced.

Even if it's a "harem," it's not an actual harem. Rarely are you ever going to get a "harem" in a K-drama and only softly implied (K-films are different though). Dong Yi will remain as the main love interest and the "Queen" is more like a wingman. The romance and themes are very similar to Dae Jang Geum. It won't be vastly different iirc.
