I'm looking for a drama - preferably  historical  or costume -  with some  femdom feels - sth where in romantic relationship ML (or other male character) is of   lower position / rank /status  than FL  or just acts submissive  while FL actually uses her status / position/ power in their relationship.   It would be perfect if the male character is not a weak type just subjected to his lady

I've  got a little bit of that from Bloody Romance and a bit  from secondery couple in The Long Ballad but I'm up for more

The Romance of Tiger and Rose (2020) - FL is a princess and ML is a prince; however, they live in a matriarchal society where women rule and men are considered of lesser status

  • The Legends - Historical wuxia / fantasy. Whether he's weak or strong and whether the FL's rank is way above his or theoretically below his, he always defers to her when he knows who she is (there are times where she hides her identity that this doesn't apply). At different points in the drama they each have moments where they lack power / strength and times when they're the strongest person around.
  • Live Up to Your Name - Half historical, half modern time travel medical drama. The leads are roughly equal in status as they're both doctors, with the FL perhaps having a slightly higher status (in modern times her style of western medicine is taken more seriously and in ancient times the ML has to work in secrecy). The ML generally defers to the FL.
  • Mr. Sunshine - Japanese occupation era korean historical melodrama. The ML is a Korean-born US soldier. The FL is a noble lady by day and a well trained rebel sniper by night. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses (the FL is from a powerful and wealthy family and a genuinely skilled sniper, but is expected to remain a sheltered noblewoman while the ML was born into the lowest rung of Korean society and is mostly treated as a foreigner, but now he has US soldiers at his command) but the ML falls hard and soon enough the FL is pretty much calling the shots.
  • Hotel del Luna - Mostly modern sci-fi fantasy. The FL is a powerful (albeit cursed) immortal while the ML is a mostly regular human, and she becomes his boss.
  • Oh My General - Historical military / palace drama with a healthy portion of comedy and whimsy. The FL is a successful general. The ML is a prince who prefers to spend his time and energy focused on beautiful dances, clothes and people with no interest in fighting or politics. The FL could crush the ML in a second if she wanted to, but because she likes him she generally uses her powers of persuasion to get him to do what she wants.

The Romance of Tiger and Rose (2020) - FL is a princess and ML is a prince; however, they live in a matriarchal society where women rule and men are considered of lesser status

This reminds me of the eternal love 3, where the FL is the favourite princess and he's the 8th son of a noble family, plus they live in a matriarchal society with gender reversal.

Well, I'm gonna sound like a broken record but... Eternal Love has that trope: she's much  much older and holds a higher rank (she's already a monarch while he's only a heir). He's stronger and a strong head who most times refuses to bow down to her cause he feels like they should be equals as a couple.
