Drama where the MC is genius and badass & Satisfying feeling by watching the bad guys "losing"

The ML starts out with a plan pretty much from the beginning and thinks several steps ahead + generally outsmarts / outperforms the villains in order to defeat them:

• Mad Dog
• Itaewon Class 
• The Rise of Phoenixes - Chinese historical drama. Although the ML does ultimately defeat his enemies, the FL complicates the ML's original plan, things don't always go according to his plan, and the ending is widely considered to be quite unsatisfying. 
• Fall In Love - Chinese republican era drama (if you don't mind having some communist propaganda mixed in).

ML doesn't necessarily start out with a clear plan, think five steps ahead or control how the entire story unfolds, but he's smart, very physically capable, reacts very quickly when things go sideways, and he successfully takes down the villain(s) in the long run:

• W - The ML's quick thinking is satisfying, but I'll be honest, the defeat of the "villain" in this drama is not super satisfying on its own because of how the villain is framed.
• The K2
• Healer
• City Hunter - The ML sort of starts with a plan, but it's not his own plan, it's his mentor's plan. The ML and his mentor clash on several occasions as they disagree about the way they should exact revenge upon the villains.
• Mysterious Love - The ML starts out with an objective, but doesn't start out with a clear plan to achieve that objective. 
• The Story of Ming Lan
• Crash Landing on You
• The King: Eternal Monarch
• When a Snail Falls in Love

• Liar Game
• Death Note
• Kurosagi
• Mad Dog
