I've been through the recommendations but nothing stood out. I'm looking for a drama or movie that's kind of dark, with a happy ending, where one character is abused or bullied but they fall in love with form a close friendship with someone while going through that (romance preferred) . I'm mostly looking for something with intense emotions? The good and bad. What I loved about Better Days is that it showed what she went through, how she coped, and the bond she was able to form because of it or in spite of it.
