Hey guys. I’ve been in a drama slump recently; half watched shows, a growing list of ‘planned to watch’ a bunch of shows on hold. With a variety of dramas I’ve taken note of and previously done so because I was interested in it, nothing is really interesting me. The thing about a drama slump for me isn’t taking a break but feeling the giant need to find that ONE right show that will magically satisfy this boredom and disinterest. I KNOW these are show I’ll watch anyways and I know I like them I just can’t bring myself to watch them. My attention span is horrible. So I have some super-duper specific things I’m looking for in a quest to find a drama to satisfy me.
- a sweet short romance. Fast paced but natural. Preferably lots of skin ship no huge obstacles and no long sub plots. Romance all the way. Also preferably they start out disliking each other or misunderstanding
- a depressing teen centered drama like ‘The Penthouse’ or ‘Sky Castle’ I really want that angst and gloomy teen feeling.
- a dramatic drama about the lives of the rich. Entertaining but not infuriating. Example ‘heard it through the grapevine’ perfect mix of rich peoples lives, romance, and some really good comedic scenes; or ‘remarriage and desires’.
- historic drama that takes place in the palace and romance. ‘Mr Queen’ for example or ‘The Red Sleeve.’
-old but gold full out all the overused tropes but original enough to be interesting.
I totally went on a whole rant and I doubt I’ll get a lot of answers but if you could help a fellow kdrama wathcer out I’d be VERY thankful!
