Cdramas, jdoramas, kdramas, any kind of drama where the male lead thinks badly of the female lead for some   reason and over time comes to realize she's not who or what he thought she was.

  • No need to include Thai lakorns, unless they're obscure, as I'm aware of most lakorns with this theme.
  • Bonus points if this creates lots of angst and tragedy, but would prefer a happy ending.
  • Also more bonus points if we see ML falling for FL as he sees her real nature

Examples: Kleun Cheewit of course: ML thinks FL is just a drunken spoiled actress who killed his fiancee.

It's Okay to Not Be Okay is another famous example, ML thinks FL is cold, and heartless.

Thank you very much! Holidays are coming up and I need something new to watch!

For korean dramas I'd say try;
My Mister - (probably the one that hits most of your wish points)
Jealousy Incarnated
Risky Romance

Begin Again - (cdrama) This one reminded me the most of It's okay to be not okay in terms of female leads behavior.

something that might also to some degree fit into this would be Big Issue, Secret Boutique and Misty. But all these female leads are truly not "good" or "kind". They are very grey colored and ambitious and sometimes they make a lot of risky decisions because of that. However these dramas have a lot of angst. Misty is one with an ending where the watcher has to decide for themselves if it is a good or a sad ending. But the others are kinda good

oh! my sweet liar
a familiar stranger
rich man poor woman
kanojo wa kirei datta (jdrama remake of she was pretty)
autumn's concerto
moon embracing the sun
kahogo no kanhoko

I would say Business Proposal fits this theme. He thinks she's an insane rich heiress at first, finds out her true identity later on.
