Please recommend romance dramas where:
- one of the leads (L1) falls in love with another lead (L2);
- L2 dies and stays dead for a significant amount of time (months, years, centuries - it's not quick);
- L1 doesn't move on after L2's death;
- L2's spirit is resurrected, they reincarnate or they otherwise return from the dead; and
- the leads get a relatively happy ending.
L2's memories and identity aren't important. L2 can have all, some or none of their memories and can hide their memories / identity or not when they return - doesn't matter.
L1 can recognize L2 immediately when they return or not - that also doesn't matter.
However, please do not recommend dramas where L1 does not recognize that L2 is L2 when they return, where L2 behaves very differently (like a totally different person), and L1 falls in love with L2 again in a way that feels like L1 has moved on from their feelings for L2 and fallen in love with a new person (even though it's actually L2 again). Basically, please don't recommend Alchemy of Souls because that's what it felt like for me and I found it very unsatisfying.
My favourites are The Untamed, Love Between Fairy and Devil, and The Legends.
I would also be open to dramas that have a similar set up without death (for example, where L1 wrongly believes that L2 died many years ago - like in Thirty But Seventeen) or where L1 falls in love with L2 in multiple world or timelines (for example, in Lost Love in Times).
