Serious Romance Movie/Series

I'm looking for a drama/series with romance (not cheesy  or comedy). Preferably slow burn but it doesn't need to be. Something to bawl my eyes out to or more on the darker side. I hope it is understandable what I mean haha

• Lost (2021_S.Korea) - artistically told story in melancholy and solace
• Someday or One Day - fantasy  romance of fate and love
• First Love: Hatsukoi - story of first love and living on
• That Winter the Wind Blows - a love that freezes and spouts the coldness of winter
• Beautiful Life (2000_Japan) - a terminal illness Love story
• Hirugao - of cheating and  choices
• Kleun Cheewit - revenge that blungeons love and romance
• Mars (2004_ Taiwan) - a story of broken people and healing
• Kenja no Ai / Sage of Love - super dark with revenge, taboo and twist of tragedy for all

I don't know how partial you are to older movies, but I highly recommend these:

• In the Mood for Love (Hong Kong, 2000)
• Christmas in August (South Korea, 1998)
• Scattered Clouds (Japan, 1967)
• Yearning (B&W, Japan, 1964)

And if you haven't watched it already, I highly recommend Park Chan-wook's Decision to Leave. Anyway, I felt like my soul had left my body when I finished these movies, so you might like them too.
