aired dramas from the last 6 months?

i'm coming back from an 8-month hiatus and i'm incredibly behind on all the dramas that have come out since then. which ones were good and worth checking out? which ones should i avoid? i'm fine with any country, but i'd prefer mainly japanese and korean. i'm also not picky about the genre as long as the story is interesting enough. any help is greatly appreciated! thank you!

Avoid or have a a proper expectation:

  • Reborn Rich - it was highly HIGHLY addicting (15 episodes) but the end was personally unsatisfactory. the MC is superpowered or has Hero halo. He has discovered the SUPER cheat code that is somehow it feels wrong. Feels like GoT all over again
  • Money Heist - if you watched the original version, this may not be for you
  • Cheer Up - It kinda started good start but it was just crazy and unsatisfactory how it all went down. Writer-nim definitely felt confused.
  • Forbidden Marriage - cringey and lost
  • Today's Webtoon - fails to ive up to the japanese original version

wowow thank you for so many recs and including the links. i don't really watch bl anymore unless it's a healthy portrayal or it's just a cute fluff, but most of the ones you sent seem like that. besides the bl ones, which do you personally recommend the most?

thank you for so many recs!!! i think i've heard or at least seen most of these around. thank you for also including which ones to avoid. which drama do you personally recommend the most? i'm already nearly done with attorney woo and i've watched aib2 and reset, but other than that i haven't seen the rest.

I'd say for Japanese dramas => Gannibal 

For korean dramas I was not very impressed with what was released in the last year. There were some okey dramas like Decoy, Somebody  and The Glory but nothing truly stood out where you'd say "WOW, absolute must watch"

Hey again, from the ones I listed, probably try The Glory. but then again I think waiting for season 2 to air would be the best move. Your probably need to avoid having hangover and withdraw over it, since its pretty much such a cliffhanger.

Next to try are Weak Hero and Under The Queens Umbrella.
