Thanks, I've seen all but Yongpal. Worth the watch in your opinion?

Thank you! I haven't seen any of these. I started Dr Romantic 2 last night and it's so far perfect for what I was looking for. I'll check out the other two as well

Honestly, It started so good but toward the end they went to crazy chaebol makjang arc, so it was a but disappointing. I guess its a good watch, just st propwer expectatiom witj regards to narrtive change diretion and FL actin.

don't watch that. I can highly highly highly recommend you the webtoon but the adaption is an absolute mistake......I really wonder how something so well written could turn out so absolutely badly done....

But some dramas I definitely 2nd are;
+ Squid game
+ The Winter the wind blows
+ Better Days (however here the female lead is not really hunted down by criminals. There is one small scene but the majority of the movie is her being bullied which has nothing to do with any debt. Still it is an absolute amazing movie)

Other recommendations that are more on the dark side;
Woman of 9.9 billion
A model Family
Drama stage season 3: Blackout

Two romantic comedies featuring collectors for loan sharks:

Trot Lovers - aspiring singer is responsible for her absent father's debt, as well as raising her young sister

Miss Korea - a cosmetics company needs the publicity that comes with a successful win for their backed candidate in the Miss Korea contest (the former girlfriend of the ML). An enforcer arrives to collect, stays when he is attracted to a female scientist.

In both cases, the "enforcers" attempt to assist the debtors to achieve success, reasoning that will be the way they can be paid back.

Based on the comments and ratings some people definitely love it, but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Yes the FL falls into the "debt ridden" category more than the "harassed by gangsters" category. The FL's mum racks up a major debt and is basically forced to leave town. The FL is stuck living at their place alone and constantly having to hide from angry debt collectors in addition to being bullied by her peers (and having an unfortunate run-in with some young street thugs). The ML's situation also isn't great.

"Mr. Heart": One of the MLs, Go Sang Ha has to work before school in order to keep paying off medical bills, or be forced to work for them.

Hidden Love. The ML. When the ML was in 10th grade, a series of events resulted in his parents incurring serious debts related to compensation for a crime, substantial and ongoing medical bills, and funeral costs. The ML takes on the task of paying for all of those debts himself, as well as his own university tuition, housing, food, etc. He is also harassed by the family of the victim of his father's crime.
