I am not a Chinese speaker and all my knowledge of the language is picked up through a few years of watching Chinese shows, therefore I was reluctant to watch this without finding subtitles in any language I can speak.
But I eventually decided to give it a shot. Since this is a shorter drama I figured missing dialogues etc. wouldn't affect my experience too much, since there wouldn't be much depth to the plot anyways.
And personally, my experience showed me now, after watching this drama, that it actually wasn't hard to understand the plot nor what was going on in specific scenes. My guess is that for one part knowledge of stereotypical drama conflicts and on the other side the fast pace of this drama helped not getting sidetracked or confused. If anyone wonders if you will understand this drama or even another one without subs, I would say, give it a shot and try out something new :3
