Nichirin:

There was nobody to take her to the right path? Are you forgetting Dalmi and Injae grew up with the same parents? Smh

That aside, do want both Injae and Jipyeong to reflect on the decisions they've made and become better stronger people. Will be waiting for the power sisters moment.

As for Injae and jipyung becoming a couple, only bad screenwriting can make that happen.

"There was nobody to take her to the right path? Are you forgetting Dalmi and Injae grew up with the same parents? Smh". -uuuurrgghhhh care to know that she was a kid back then who followed her mom for idk what reason and started adapting to the life style. Her step bro and dad using her business etiquette to their advantage and throwing her into the bus, her mom asking Injae to apologise to that dad infront of all the investors. U think she was really raised well?? Whatever she has earned till now is on her own. Else you think her business colleague would follow her when she has nothing to offer(paycheck).?

She needs improvement I agree. Actually everyone in this drama needs huge character improvement so idk why you specifically mentioned only them? I believe it's cuz I pointed them specifically. I get it.

Now coming to the ghost-ship which I am not seriously shipping, but actually am because the show is itself badly written lmao. What do you expect?

It was great till ep 6 or 7 if I am not wrong. Then this romance shit happened and their  first kiss was too much for my taste and why even...? Don't get me started. It just took place so fast to even like their romance. I am not into romance part anymore cuz we have so many other drama that are much more fun and relatable. What kept me waiting for this series was the title itself START-UP. Where is the plot? WHERE?

So at this point it wouldn't be a problem if they end up together. It wouldn't even surprise me if NDS and HJP are relatives (highly unlikely, but I do not trust the plot anymore haha). I am just waiting for the plot to go in the right path.

 Kimsamsoom:

I'm not sure HJP and WIJ makes any sense at all.

I might be totally wrong, but this makes sense to me.   I got this by looking at the poster!  There are 4 people on the poster, JP+IJ on the same level and then Dalmi + DoSan on the other level.  Also, their ages seems about the same.  Also, the grandmother would be happy to have her two grand daughters in couple with men she trusts and likes.  Also, I believe we will see some kind of reconciliation between the 2 sisters in the next episodes.   JP deserves a love story in this drama and I don’t see who else could fit the bill.  Finally I feel that DalMi+DoSan are more similar character wise and JP+IJ are also more similar.    Again, I don’t claim being right, this is just my humble opinion.

I ship MIJI, since ep 1. And I like HJP more than NDS.

But I really appreciate how Dosan told her 'You can do it, I trust you', while HJS only said 'I'll be your plan B'. I

I kinda feel like Dosan and Injae would be good for each other. Injae is ambitious and Dosan is compassionate. They are very different, but I think they'd understand each other, and maybe learn from one another. (Just my mind making up ships, I know it's very unlikely to happen).

Though at first dosan said that he trusts her, later he was not sure and went running to Alex to confirm the offer which he rejected earlier... This is the problem I have with this character which makes him less likely... He always says something and does some other thing... And he always compares himself with JP and sees him as a MERE competitor...

Whereas HJP being practical and mature, he never gives false or futuristic hopes.. but at the same time he supports as much as he could.... He said he'll be her plan B just to reassure her that she can do it because he never invests in a falling company thereby implying that she has the potential!!!

This is just my opinion and my point of view.. from what I understood...

This is a good point.

A good point indeed. Dosan's self-esteem issues are always getting in the way.

I was discussing this in one of the comments, but I'll write it here too. Dosan is like a teenager in love. Awkward and cute, and doing everything to be on Dalmi's good side.

They are probably going to change that after he comes back from working with Alex, though. He won't stand a chance against HJP if they don't.

OMG lol.  It’s clear as day she’s gonna choose Dosan.  He is ALWAYS there for her.  He comforts her.  He stands up for her.  He takes accountability and says sorry.  Has grandma and JP said sorry?  They’re the biggest offenders.  And Dosan isn’t shy about sharing his feelings for her even if he looks like a stuttering weirdo.

He lets her be her, she doesn’t have to convince him to do anything.  he loves her exactly as she is and that’s why she’s gonna choose him.

He says sorry when he is caught.

Just like a child :)

Team DalDo:

even after the drama over the lies and letters, i feel like do san and dalmi have better chance of relating to each other and being good friends and companions through the struggles.it feels like there is a lot of room for growth for both.

i also like that if not for grandma's blindness drama, he felt the need to be open about the lies much earlier. and ji pyeong never wanted to tell her the truth and even stopped do san, until he realized he likes her and then wanted to use his one advantage of being penpals.

it feels like ji pyong and dal mi havent even had one friend-like conversation as adults. he feels more like an elder brother or mentor. too perfect. too mature for dal mi, also with a sad backstory. very less room for growth beccause he is practically a god now.

and having dated both guys who are bit of a mess but good friends and ones who are too perfect (or project like that) in every way, i liked the former more. it felt like my little struggles and bigger ones and my flaws also were just as human, and i had a campanion to share and grow with; with the latter it feels like we were living on two parallel roads and it was very boring.

but i really feel lke both dal mi and do san shouldn't focus on dating now. maybe after personal and career growth, and little more maturity they could work things.

with do san it feels like the love that starts in early 20s, and after struggles and lots of communication, they have a chnce of making it. with ji pyeong it feels like the blind date your parents arrange you with. one who is flawless and also likes u a lot but extremely bland and boring. i personally at dal mi s age would choose a do san. over ji pyeong.

also i think ji pyeong would go well with her sister.

The most annoying thing in episodes 9 and 10 is that the writer tries to save Dosan's character who has lost to Ji Pyeong's character. Some scenes really side with Dosan. And it's an unbalanced fight for Ji Pyeong.

For example, when Jipyeong had dinner three with Dalmi and grandmother, how could Dosan suddenly wake up and be fully conscious after being so drunk? then instead Ji Pyeong was fast asleep even though he wasn't drunk at all.

Yes, Jipyeong's scene with Dalmi was indeed cut a lot by Dosan (and his friends) in the previous episode. But in these two episodes the writer really went so far as to spoil the theme of this drama itself. There is nothing about "Start Up" in these two episodes. There is only the writer trying to get rid of Ji Pyeong's character who turns out to be very strong unexpectedly, and trying to strengthen the Dosan character who is forced to develop (which should have been done in the previous episode).

I myself don't care if Dosan ends up with Dalmi. But at least the writer can make Ji Pyeong lose in a better way than this, or at least the writer doesn't break the core theme of the drama's story as was done in episodes 9 and 10.

It is very sad because all the characters and theme ideas in this drama are very good , and the actors performed their roles very well.

Hopefully in the remaining 6 episodes the story gets better even though I'm not really interested in watching more.
