To those reacting to Attorney Kwon Min Woo, I want you to understand that you need to look beyond this fictional character and ask what this character is representing in real life.

The character, Attorney Kwon Min Woo, in episode 7 clearly represents neurotypicals who think autistics are using autism as an "excuse", "shield", and/or to hide.

This is discrimination and a prejudice, and IT IS HAPPENING in real life.

I already shared this before, I had an ex-colleague who is the youngest of three siblings, and the eldest is autistic. He asked me questions about autism (because I disclosed to them that I am autistic) and had a lengthy discussion about it.

In the end, this person still concluded and said that "autism is not real". That his brother is using autism to get what he wants and to get favours from their parents; and he, the youngest, is often the bad guy.

That is the people Attorney Kwon Min Woo represents in this show and it was made clear in episode 7.

Please look beyond this fictional character and understand that this fictional character is a representation of the kind of people that actually exists out there in the real world.

This is not your ordinary drama. There is a message behind this story and it would be a huge waste to miss all of these lessons.

Yes, people not understanding that the world is full of kwon min woo not Lee jun ho

Yes, and I'm glad this drama will tell people how having a thinking like Min Woo is actually wrong. Everyone is different, so we have to respect each other's boundary as a human being and not be a jerk to other people cause you feel superior. I hope all the real life "Min woo's"  change their perspective after watching this drama.

Unfortunately there will always be people like him in this world. I am really glad that this drama is addressing this.

I am sorry to hear @IM YourOnlyOne that you had such an experience IRL.
As @Miss Meow said, it is indeed unfortunate but harsh reality that people like him exist in real and glad that the drama is highlighting it.

My 2 cents on this:

⭐I think through Min-woo's character the show makers are trying to show us two sides of the coin. It is the truth - that not everyone WYW meets will be kind and understanding to her, some would question that whether her disability is her weakness or actually giving her an edge?

⭐Two view-points:
• While we know that when others get things that specially-abled people get is unfair, from a person like MW's point of view, he could see that specially-abled people are getting sympathy or attention due to their disability and in their mind it could seem unfair to them.

I think we need to see how his character develops, why he is thinking and acting out the way he is (his backstory) - whether he is a plain jealous/insecure person meaning harm or just a confused soul who cannot understand WYW and her disability and therefore thinks the worse of her.

Min Woo also represent today's toxic work culture, that your coworkers are not your colleagues but your rivals. I don't hate him beacuse he is not using any particular dirty tricks and probably I would also feel bitter if one my coworkers got a job I wanted because of nepotism.

The ones I hate are companies beacuse even when Young Woo have a top notch CV nobody hired her just beacuse  she has a disability.

To be honest I'm shocked that people irl think about autistic people like you pointed out. I think one has to be really concieted or coward or have extremely low self respect to have thoughts like "autism isn't real"

I was really grateful for Sooyeon pointing out that while nepotism might not be legal, so is all the discrimination that Youngwoo has faced, which no one has done anything about. Minwoo only chooses to focus on what he considers to be others giving Youngwoo a leg up or special preference, while ignoring the countless times (specifically related to her autism) that Youngwoo has been pushed down. This is actually a great example of why things like affirmative action are important.

A realistic villain in this type of drama.
