I agree with this, we do complain a lot about no vietnamese titles here. MDL is literaly the best place to list asian dramas and movies because it's so complete so if it could be more complete I think this will gain a lot ! We have discovered a lot of asian movies because of MDL so why not cover a wider span of asian countries ? (I recommend Indonesia too, there is a lot of movies on Netflix)

I am still pretty surprised that this thread has stayed alive for the 3 years or so since I made it, and how far I have progressed in my Asian drama journey since then. I still watch dramas, but interestingly I have largely shifted from Korean Dramas to Chinese Dramas as of late, and I realized that I never could have even begun to explore Chinese dramas nor could I have found all the quality shows I have grown to love had MyDramaList not existed. I am really excited for the future if MyDramaList continues to expand and grow, and if it can someday support Vietnamese Shows then it could open the door for many people to discover new cultures and media just like how MyDramaList introduced me to Chinese stuff. I love this community and am very thankful for everyone who has been supportive of this suggestion so far :)

I shall add my vote here as well. I would like to see what Vietnam has to offer and don't know how to find dramas yet. Any suggestions of dramas and where to watch with english subs? I have looked on Netflix and there are only three offerings.

Most of the Vietnamese dramas that I've found to watch are on Youtube, but I'm a BoysLove Drama fan, so it's a bit easier to find FanSubs of things.  If you're familiar with Vietnamese television stations (Wikipedia has a list of them), you can often find a presence for them on Youtube and they will have a few dramas online for people to watch.  It's a total crapshoot whether they will have English Subtitles or not.  Like, this little gameshow I clicked on at VIE Channel - HTV2 on Youtube has subs:

But the first drama I tried under their playlist section did not:

Viki.com does have a handful of movies.  "Goodbye Mother" is worth the time if you're subscribed.  It's a BL, but a very accessible one.

It's an O2 production, so production values are pretty high, acting and story are good so far.

Hi. Could you please share the link with me. I'm a big fan of Vietnamese Movies. My last Vietnamese Movies were: Dreamy Eyes (Mắt biếc) and Secrets of the Wind (Bí Mât Cua Gió). And I loved both of them.
