Automated Tracking/Gps System for Drama and Movie Watchlists
Objective: To automatically record the journey of each drama or movie in your watchlist, capturing the date and time as it moves through different statuses (currently watching, planned, on hold, not interested, rewatching, completed).
Key Features
Automated Date/Time Stamps:
- When a drama or movie is added to your list, an initial timestamp is recorded.
- Each time a title moves to a different status, the date and time of the transition are automatically logged.
Journey Tracking:
- Detailed records of each title's movement through your watchlist statuses are maintained. This includes all changes from planned to completed and any intermediate statuses (on hold, not interested, rewatching).
Rewatch Tracking:
- For titles that are rewatched, the system records each instance of rewatching.
- Specific fields are automatically updated:
- Total Rewatches: The number of times the title has been rewatched.
- Rewatch Start Date: The date when the title is moved from the completed list back to the current watch list.
- Rewatch End Date: The date when the title is moved from the current watch list back to the completed list.
Status Analysis:
- The system provides insights into your viewing habits, such as the number of times a title has been rewatched and the total time spent in different statuses.
Deletion Handling:
- If a title is deleted from your list, all associated records are also removed, ensuring accurate tracking of only active titles.

- Planned List: Added on January 1, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-01-01)
- Current Watch List: Moved on January 5, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-01-05)
- On Hold List: Moved on January 10, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-01-10)
- Current Watch List: Moved on January 15, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-01-15)
- Not Interested List: Moved on January 20, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-01-20)
- Current Watch List: Moved on January 25, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-01-25)
- Completed List: Moved on February 1, 2023 (Timestamp: 2023-02-01)
