The first episode, the scene at the British Embassy when she spoke to him in sign language. It was my first favorite moment in WTPR. Whenever I think about the drama, this scene is the first that comes to mind. It was the moment that made me feel the drama was truly different and held so much promise. I genuinely wanted to see more scenes like that throughout the series.
Even though the ML didn’t know sign language, he understood that she was mad and let her express everything she wanted to say until the very end. He even caught on that she cursed at him lol 😂
It gave us one of my favorite quotes in kdrama history:
"Do you think I can't hear just because I can't speak? Do you think I can't feel emotions? Did you say I was your weakness? A weakness is a wound that's prone to infection. When someone touches it, you flinch, tremble, and desperately defend it. But you didn't act like that yesterday."
This scene holds a special place in my heart and will definitely be the one I show to any friend I’m recommending the drama to. It’s such a powerful and unforgettable moment.
