Yeah, so I am Korean, majored in Anthropology, concentrated mostly in Systems (racism, sexism, etc). I have a minor in comp lit and took additional Korean history classes. I have geek interests in food and hanbok.
So if you have any questions about what you're confused about in the drama, I probably can field them, or at least direct you in the correct direction and give you references along the way that aren't wikipedia.
I should probably note that I am not a super nationalist, so I do go over things that are good, bad and ugly of Korea, and try for a fair and balanced manner. This may not always please Korean nationals, especially nationalists, but I try my best to note what to say and not to say under those situations.
I also took classes in Japanese and very loosely know some Han Chinese history. Questions outside of the sphere of this drama, I may or may not answer.
