Let's have a debate(I'ma open up a controversy):

"Is Babe's overprotectiveness understandable?"

(Please state your side first before giving out your opinion)

Actually I just want y'all opinion about babes overprotectiveness

To me it is, Rak is her baby brother and even though he's grown up now he's still very new to a lot of things so in her eyes she doesn't want him to get hurt I think (I am also an older sister btw) compared to Lee who is younger than Fah so he just wants to help his brother.

I think it's definitely an interesting parallel ☺️

i am an older sister too and do act like a second mother to my brother sometimes lol but there is a limit, esp about his own personal relationships. it cringes me to see a sister being that protective over her university age sibling.  being THAT possessive over a sibling looks so weird. reminds me of those weird "boy moms" who gets jealous over their sons. like ew why are you going cuckoo bananas over the thought of your sibling kissing

i get that there is already an childlike innocence to teerak and conflicts in the shows are ridicilous bc its a comedy but i guess this behaviour is exceeds my cringe limit. its too infantilizing, i cant find the humour in it. i hope to see it lessens in future eps

ALSO i feel like its was not written as a character trait but just as a plot device to create conflict. so it makes even more annoying to watch and cant really warm up to the character.

I find it very annoying (I’m an older sister with a significant age gap of 14 years between me and my younger sibling), but I only acted this protective when my sister was in middle school/high school and only then when she was dating someone who was technically an adult (18) when she was 14/15.

Once she was in college I would give advice, but since she was dating a peer I didn’t feel it was my place to interfere in her relationships to the extent Babe does.  I especially find it hypocritical since she has a boyfriend that she obviously does all the things with that she is blocking for her brother.  Agree with other poster and hope that this plot device is lessened as the show progresses.
