1/8 - Xing Zhi is imploring Shen Li to stay, after getting discovered for trapping her in his home

[Shen Li throws escaping Xing Zhi, out from the window, to the ground outside]

[Xing Zhi pitifully cries]

Ahhah! Ahhaaah! Aha! Aaahha!

My arm! Ahhah!

You threw me so hard!

Hah! My arm! Ahan! Ahha!

I think I broke my arm!

I saved your life once!

Cluck!

HAHA

Shen Li: Farewell!

What did you say?

Shen Li: I said after you have healed...

[Xing Zhi starts wailing]

Ayah! My head hurts!

But wasn't it your arm that got injured?

2/8 - Xing Zhi is childishly pranking Shen Li, and has had his bathtub thrown far away

The fallen leaves in the courtyard need to be swept.

Alright, I'll do it!

[Shen Li picks a nearby broom and starts to sweep]

[After the first sweep, he stops her]

Wait a moment!

What is it?

The thing is...

Umm, I usually pick up...

the leaves...

in the courtyard...

by hand...

HAHAHAHA

[Shen Li tries making sense of his seemingly absurd request for a while, but assumes he is messing with her]

[Shen Li throws the broom far away, which falls into his tub somewhere on the other side of the mountains]

[Xing Zhi shows his frustration in an annoyed hurt tone]

Why did you throw it away again?

I have nothing much left!

You have been sitting around doing nothing at all!

Are you messing with me?

This time, I am not...

I swear...

HAHAHAHA

[Xing Zhi sways his head from left to right and mumbles]

3/8 - Xing Zhi is sitting with Shen Li with one eye closed after an attack at his cottage

[Shen Li is concerned as she eyes the sling he wears to hold his (fake) broken arm]

Your bandage got wet!

Let me change it for you.

[Xing Zhi panics]

There's no need!

It's not wet!

It's alright!

[Shen Li with goading tone]

A wet bandage will affect your wound.

Let me change it for you...

[Shen Li tries to grab the sling, Xing Zhi moves back and stares at her]

[Shen Li tries to make sense of his action, Xing Zhi continues to stare]

[Shen Li grabs and pulls on the sling]

[Xing Zhi cries with fake pain]

[Shen Li softly]

Change it...

[Xing Zhi continues to eye her in the same pose]

[Xing Zhi undresses the sling himself with his arm that was supposed to be broken]

HAHAHAHA

[Shen Li eyes him in silence]

[ML dangles the sling in front of her face with his fake broken arm]

[Shen Li sees the sling and then the Xing Zhi]

[Xing Zhi after continuing to eye her in the same pose, hints at the sling with his eyes, goading her to take it]

[Shen Li tries to, but Xing Zhi throws it towards her like a king granting a reward]

[Shen Li continues to eye him]

[Xing Zhi too eyes her with his seemingly broken arm in the air, but then realizes]

[Xing Zhi pessimistically with a hollow laugh]

Ahha! Haha!

[Shen Li continues to eye him in silence]

[Xing Zhi childishly dillydallies with fake embarrassment]

[Shen Li continues to stare at him with a goading expression as if urging him to explain]

[Xing Zhi watches for awhile, hoping she will let it go, but she continues to stare]

My head!

[Shen Li's eyes show disappointment as if she expected this]

HAHA

It hurts! cough!

I burned my head, it hurts!

It hurts so much!

[Shen Li cautiously but naively asks]

Are you trying to fool me again by pretending to be weak?

[Xing Zhi while holding his head, shakes his other hand, negating]

[Shen Li eyes him in silence]

How can it hurt so much!

[Xing Zhi secretly eyes her to see her reaction, but Shen Li catches this, and moves away]

Keep suffering, I am ignoring you!

[Shen Li sits on the other side of the table with her back towards the Xing Zhi]

[Xing Zhi eyes her with one eye, and relaxes]

[A blissful smile adorns his face]

[He is happy that she chose to continue the ruse and stay with him]

[On the other side, Shen Li makes cute expressions as if complaining about his childishness, as sweet happiness spreads on her face...]

4/8 - Xing Zhi being the overgod, is reasoning to "survey" the land with Shen Li with her subordinates

[Xing Zhi with a straight face]

[Shen Li silently looks on incredulously intrigued]

HAHAHAHA

5/8 - Xing Zhi being the strongest god, is reasoning with Shen Li to hold her hand

[Xing Zhi with a pained and pitiful expression]

I feel..

afraid...

when I am alone...

HAHAHAHA

6/8 - Xing Zhi being the guest, is reasoning with Shen Li's master to stay at her home

In the spiritual realm... I think... her highness is my only friend!

I hope her highness... might bring me around to experience the local customs and culture!

[Shen Li quickly interjects]

People here have no customs or culture!

[The guards laugh in the background while her master frowns at her childishness]

[Her master then suggests him to stay in the guest rooms]

I want to stay in her home!

7/8 - Xing Zhi and Shen Li are in an evil cult's base

[Shen Li goes on obliterating the base with all the shock and awe]

[Shen Li is walking around like a god of death, looking all cool with battle music playing in the background]

[While at the starting location, Xing Zhi watches in silence with his characteristic straight face]

[Eventually he conjures a tea table set, sits, and pours tea]

PFFFT

[Shen Li goes continues to beat up the evil cultists]

[Xing Zhi continues to drink tea]

HAHAHA

[Hostages comment on how awesome Shen Li is]

[Xing Zhi with a tea cup in hand, notices this, swishes his hand, and the whole base receives a sweeping attack while all the hostage cages open up!]

[Shen Li stares at him while he continues drinking tea]

HAHAHAHA

[Hostages come out and start praising Shen Li]

Thanks Immortal!

[Xing Zhi throws the tea cup away and teleports in front of Shen Li to receive their praise like an aged senior with his hands folded behind his back]

HAHAHAHA

[Shen Li roles her eyes and mocks him on his antics]

8/8 - Xing Zhi after telling Shen Li, his importance and how he can't perish or everything will end

[Xing Zhi with a sad face, full of warmth and seriousness]

[Shen Li with sad eyes and tone with fake bravado]
