fav & upcoming japanese bl / lgbtq+ dramas

this is me struggling to decide which one of these dramas i love most, but this should definitely take #1. i loved every second of it. I read all the manga. aoki and ida are both – well – stupid & ive never seen so much confusion and un-ability to put  feelings into words, its great, its dumb, people are idiots, its so well written. and very close to my heart. (this having an amazing female main character shouldn't deserve extra points, but considering the hostile environment, it does)

i have no words for how much i loved this one. is it strange ? yes. is there bullying ? yeah. but hear me out – it all is somehow understandable, and it makes so much sense. we don't live on a perfect society and there is cruelty out there, and those stories also deserve to be told. and this one is really good. ppl act because they dont know better, dont know how to cope, are confused, hurt & scared. despite all of that it is so lovable. really strange, a bit unhinged, a lot actually, but there is a reason this deserved a second season. its familiar, and that's comforting.

again, I read the shit out of the manga. this made me laugh so much, smile to myself, feel warm. it is one of my all time favorites, and very dear to me. grown people romance is so refreshing. the characters are perfect, you immediately understand them, you might say easy to read, I say incredibly written and relatable. its cute and funny and heartbreaking and i cannot find the right words for how much I loved every second of this.

not finished but I read the manga and I am so excited to watch more of this. kohei has a hearing disability and prefers keeping his distance from others, despite being popular. taichi is bubbly and cheerful, and a little unfortunate coordination wise. with a little kindness and because taichi is endearing af, all of kohei's defenses start crumbling.

normally I dont looove stuff involving family & children, but this kid is actually cute, and this story is very fucking cute as well (,even tho a bit strange but they brought that upon themselves)

i love shin, i love minato san, i love the genuine hurt, the puppy love, the unrequitedness, the struggle, all the sweetness, the cute setting, everything, (also deeply in love with the younger sakuma guy and asuka (and sakurako my love))

i binged this in the middle of the night and fell in love with it, its really short but the friends to lovers and the whole story and everything was so so nice and cute and just wholesome

CG DESIGNERS also i am deeply inlove with mr. yanase / jun like how can a man be so cute wow why is his whole being so bunny and ajhdkghfk i cannozt do this anymore

i just started this, its only one ep released so far and i have no clue whats going on but it was good confusuin !! (feels really i was a manga for some reason)

classic, ethereal,  god-like, wonderful, funny

i honestly dont wanna talk about the emotional damage this left me with, this is the one that should be #1 honestly and yuuki is pure sunshine, until he isnt, but seriously wtf how could you hurt me like that ??
