how to best spend 2 hours of your life
movies that have a special place in my heart and I don't instantly forget about the moment I finish watching it (there were more movies but I deleted everything I wouldn't recommend)
-
1. Train to Busan
Korean Movie - 2016
if you haven't watched this you're living under a rock and not living life properly
update: still love it, would cry if I watched it again tbh
-
2. Parasite
Korean Movie - 2019
this is a literal masterpiece, would pay to see it again for the first take. take my money.
update: opinion is still the same, think about this movie a lot
-
3. Our Times
Taiwanese Movie - 2015
ALL TIME FAVOURITE FEEL GOOD MOVIE i just feel unsure about the ending
update: I love and now I love the OST too
update AGAIN: guys I think about this movie a lot it makes me so happy I made my mum rewatch with me
-
4. Orange
Japanese Movie - 2015
this is so wholesome my heart was being ripped apart, glued back together and then torn out again I loved it
-
5. Upcoming Summer
Chinese Movie - 2021
I saw this on Netflix and randomly pressed on it, the best decision of my life
please the show is so wholesome and cute and made me feel emotions I haven't felt in so long, I love it
update: randomly this movie will pop into my head so yes watch it, also the realistic side of the movie hurts but I love it (actually added the song moments to my playlist bc of this movie)
-
6. Kill Bok Soon
Korean Movie - 2023
idk why but I love it, the characters, the message and the cinematography
update: I feel like I was a little generous with the 10/10 rating but it was still an enjoyable movie so I would recommend
-
7. Smugglers
Korean Movie - 2023
guys this was such a fun silly little movie also Go Min Si's face card DID NOT decline omg she was stunning (can u tell I love her??)
-
8. How to Make Millions before Grandma Dies
Thai Movie - 2024
I love this movie for the sole reason that it felt personal to me, way too many things in the movie felt relatable or just really realistic
- only reason it didn't get 10/10 was because it was overhyped for me and I thought I would come out of the cinema bawling my eyes out... I came out teary eyed but no tears
-
9. 20th Century Girl
Korean Movie - 2022
I have a soft spot for dramas set in the 90s and this drama did not miss with the acting, emotions and overall vibes
update: I still love the feeling this movie gives me but would rate a litter lower, I think the high rating was due to the hype the movie was getting at the time
-
10. Forgotten
Korean Movie - 2017
just perfection
update: past me was right, watch this rn rn
