1. The Story of Park's Marriage Contract
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
I enjoyed the first half so much I was reminded why I fell in love with kdramas in the first place.
After 7th episode everything went downhill which was disappointing.
I hated how Yeon Woo treated Tae Ha in old Joseon after coming back, my heart broke for him.
The ending was soooo out of nowhere, too many plotholes.

2. A Journey to Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
I loved badass main character who stayed true to herself from beginning till the end.
I wasn't a fan of the romance, I didn't feel the spark between leads.
I love how Yang Ying evolved from useless princess to real queen.
I loved the camarederie and Shisan is my fav, the best role of this actor so far.
I fucking hate last 6 episodes. The pacing was really off and what was the point of killing literally every main character? I cried so fucking hard during last 6 episodes it should be illegal.

3. Knight Flower
Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
At first I wasn't the biggest fan but the show grew on me, I got hooked on the second part.
I couldn't get used to main female lead, there was something irritating about her acting but slowly it got better.
I love the main male lead, he was so smitten and his puppy-in-love expressions were so on point! I can't wait for his other roles.
-
4. Different Princess
Chinese Drama - 2024, 36 episodes
Binge-watched most of it, it was so fun and enjoyable, I was hooked from the very first minute!
Jin Chu basically carried the whole show, I love him so much! His acting was great (compared to other, I swear 90% of the cast shouldn't be actors xD)
I liked how one mystery nicely flowed into the other and it was tied neatly in the end with main antagonist.
The ending felt a bit rushed and underwhelming.
I enjoyed Qingge+Jin Chu romance and Ji Wan'er+Gongye Qi romance but I couldn't care less for Crown Prince and coroner lol

5. Secrets of the Shadow Sect
Chinese Drama - 2024, 24 episodes
THIS DRAMA HAS EVERYTHING I LOVE AND MORE
I was hooked from the very first second and I couldn't stop watching
The chemistry between leads is fucking PERFECTION. I absolutely love the romance.
The only problem is that it's too short! Great story with compelling characters, it could have easily been a full-length story.
-
6. As Long as We Both Shall Live
Japanese Movie - 2023
I loved main female character, she was played so well, her trauma was evident.
I am a huge sucker for this romance, I wish we got more scenes of them together!
The world-building and plot were lacking though.
-
7. In Blossom
Chinese Drama - 2024, 32 episodes
I didn't know at first it had switch the bodies trope which I'm not a fan of but it was done well so I didn't mind.
The main actress is honestly so beautiful and I loved her acting.
I didn't feel any chemistry between the leads, I wish we got more lovey-dovey scenes, there wasn't a lot of romance.
The intrigue was complicated with many smaller cases interwining together but it dragged too much. The reveal of mastermind was way too far in the series so it didn't have enough impact.
I didn't care for the characters or relationships so meh.

8. Chief Detective 1958
Korean Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
I love the setting of 1950s, so original and fascinating.
I wish the cases would be tied together, instead of one case per episode format
The cases weren't really complicated but they always ended in a satisfying manner although sometimes it felt like solutions were too easy
I always enjoy Lee Je Hoon's acting. His role reminded me his Taxi Driver performance
-
9. The Legend of Shen Li
Chinese Drama - 2024, 39 episodes
Entertaining drama although the premise was very simple and plot almost nonexistent
The editing was kinda bad, because of it the story didn't flow nicely
It's probably the least complicated xianxia I watched, very heavy on the romance part but fortunately the leads carried it well
CGI was stunning, the best I've seen so far
The main villain was useless and boring
-
10. My Demon
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
Was it perfect or original? Absolutely not.
Did I have a lot of fun while watching it, catching glimpses of old school kdrama? YES.
Honestly, My Demon has used a lot of tropes from Goblin, Doom At Your Service etc. but the main leads played their roles well, the chemistry was there and Song Kang is such an eye candy that I couldn't stop staring at him.
Full of plot holes, easy solutions, the middle towards the end got too repetitive and draggy, main villain was so boring but in the end I enjoyed it quite a lot.
-
11. Marry My Husband
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
I was bored most of the time lol
No chemistry between the leads and ML death mystery was far less interesting than I thought it would be
Ex-fiancee drama was totally unnecessary and so annoying it made me stop watching for a few months before I came back
-
12. The Player 2: Master of Swindlers
Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
-
13. Death's Game
Korean Drama - 2023, 4 episodes
So far I don't understand the hype. Without skipping button I'd be bored to death (pun intended)
The cast is amazing with many great actors on the list but their stories are too short to make me care
Some of the pieces are finally falling into place (about brother of CEO from first episode) so let's see where it takes me
Death's character isn't that compelling to me
-
14. Death's Game Part 2
Korean Drama - 2024, 4 episodes
The second part was worse than the first one
I was expecting some deep connection between ML and CEO but in the end it seemed that CEO wasn't that relevant and all characters around him were just a bonus
Ji Soo's death was apparently useless coincidence too and how tf did his mother die that he entered her body as well?
-
15. Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoshi
Japanese Drama - 2023, 9 episodes
I. FUCKING. LOVE. IT.
There's not even one thing I'd change about this story. Pure perfection.
I adore relationship between main leads, they made my heart flutter so many times with their soft and sweet interactions, they had such a deep understanding between them I was literally melting seeing them together.
I love how FL wasn't afraid of calling out ML stalkerish behaviour, she could be so cold because she was reasonable but also so caring towards ML. ML could be childish and silly at times but he always had the best interest of FL in mind.
I enjoyed the dry humour too and respectful way of showing suicide problem.
-
16. Red Swan
Korean Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
-
17. Koi Desu: Yankee-kun to Hakujou Garu
Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
I loved the representation of visually impaired individuals, lots of insightful information, very educational.
Main couple was cute and I loved how ML had fresh way of thinking, always surprising FL with they way he was viewing her.
There were times when I was bored though and it missed spark for me, maybe because I was looking for something to fill the void after Tsuiraku JK
