1. Unforgettable Love
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
Yi Xuan's character, Yi Yue is honestly one of my favorite female leads in a cdrama ?
She's soo cute! She loves her job, she's good at what she does, and she always clearly states her motives and feelings. I love how she always stood up for herself but she also knew when to let it go (like with the ex bf)
I love her dynamic with Xiao Bao it has my whole heart and akdjafdsj her strength <333 (and of course I ate up her energy with the ML)

2. Be with You
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
I loved Qi Nian so much! She was always kind to everyone but also super determined. I love that she always did everything with full intent and dedication. She also was (usually) clear about her feelings which was so refreshing and she also kept trying to be better at her job even when she wasn't doing well initially. Even though people hurt her, she was still nice and she was honest about how hard it was for her to forgive but still wanted to wish well for the other person.

4. You Are My Secret
Chinese Drama - 2024, 32 episodes
Tu Xiao Ning is so crazy cute! She had the cutest smile and I love the way her eyebrows go down when she smiles. Karlina Zhang was a great actress in this but also I loved how Xiao Ning was written. She was super resilent and bright but she was also written realistically. She experienced several set back and had realistic reactions to them. Yes, she is super resilent and works hard but after the first set-back, she cried and let herself feel horrible because it after working diligently for 3 years, her permenant position was given to someone with "connections". It was realistic that she felt discouraged. Yu Heng helped boost her morale a little but, after she tempted herself to resigned, she decided to keep pushing, seeing the good in her new boss (who was tough) and the situation.
After she worked SUPER hard against Tang Yu Hui and thought she'd gotten her first client, she felt so devastated when they couldn't sign with him because she made an error. Her feelings towards this situation were so realistic. She doubted her abilities. It took her a lot of time to pull herself back up. She pushed herself to focus more on Yu Heng's mom's illness and even though everyone else (except Rao Jing who understood her), was pushing her to hurry and get new clients, I felt that she was smart in letting herself heal and take things slow. Even though Yu Heng and her yelled at each other because they said they were both "avoiding" their problems, I think Xiao Ning's situation was valid while Yu Heng's was more of a coping mechanism. I loved Xiao Ning's confidence in herself and how she was both in touch with reality but also allowed herself to dream. I loved how she grew a backbone and told Tang Yu Hui what was up (and never really let her bully her). Honestly, she's such a realistic character but also so bright and beautiful inside out. They wrote her very well and Karlina Zhang did an amazing job at portraying her, she feels like a 3-dimentional character.
