ᴡʜᴇɴ ɪᴛ sᴛᴀʀᴛᴇᴅ
I started watching non-BL jdramas again in 2021 after a 10 year hiatus. Apart from Miura Haruma, whom I have enjoyed in the past, all the artists listed in this challenge were my discoveries in 2021.
My ʀᴜʟᴇs ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇ ᴛʜɪs ᴄʜᴀʟʟᴇɴɢᴇ.
- I go at my own pace, it can take 1 year or several years to complete the challenge. Nevertheless, I try to look at one work per year.
- The artists have blown me away with a role whether it was in a supporting role or a lead role and not necessarily the first role I have seen them in.
- I try to watch the best rated dramas first. From the best to the worst if you can say that.
- The film or drama must be subtitled in at least one of the 3 languages (French, English or Chinese)
- As I started immersing myself in K-dramas in 2010, I exclude earlier works unless the cinematography are up to scratch.
- Only dramas or films in which they play the main role will be considered once they enter the list.
- If after seeing all of their work {figured in 2022} and the actor no longer interests me I will put the STOP tag on the profile to say I'll not continue the challenge with him or her.

Miura Haruma

I intend to watch all of his dramas and films as they become available. I've seen his works before 2010.
His character in Boku no Ita Jikan remains for me one of the most memorable in Dorama industry. A breathtaking emotional palette.
2022 PTW: I just need to pick one.

I was blown away thanks to the Rurouni Kenshin saga. I've already see some of his drama before 2010 but he didn't really capt my attention.

I already had a soft spot for his acting in 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii and then I discovered another side of him in Imawa no Kuni no Alice . He is capable of playing any character, I am firmly convinced of it. I just need time to watch his other works.

His smirk in 3 Nen A Gumi was just perfect. A first role in which I saw him and confirmed in Todome no Kiss.

Yamazaki Kento
Japanese
According to my tracklist I must have seen it in Clone Baby in 2010 but it was in support role so it was not striking. His character is the one who convinced me the least in Imawa no Kuni no Alice, go figure, I found him too smooth. Then I watched Todome no kiss and it was a spark. He was not convincing in Good Doctor but I have a good feeling anyway so keep going.
