I started this last year when it was airing and dropped it after ep 1 bc I thought it was gonna be dorky. I was so wrong *sobs* I was told to give it another shot and I am so glad I did bc this was so good and cute and kinda dramatic??? I got so invested.
-

THANK YOU LIAH FOR RECCOMENDING ME THIS DRAMA *sobs* This was so cute and romantic and amazing and the ML is so handsome and sweet and I am in so in love and the romance plots were so cute and the social commentary on toxic fans and how idols are treated and expected to act and just- HBGSH so good

-
4. Shadow Beauty
Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes
THIS WAS SO GOOD!?!?! LITERALLY WTF. I loved it so much. I stayed up til 9 AM bingeing this. I couldn't tear my eyes away. I got so completely immersed. Absolutely fantastic. All the plot lines and the character relationships and the back stories. Everything was so well done. I seriously loved this.
-
5. The Tasty Florida (Movie)
Korean Movie - 2021
Literally just watched it and then immediately had to watch the movie version. Usually I get bored watching the same thing again in a short period of time but I was glued to the screen the entre time. Idek why I liked this one so much I just ~do~
also help that extra scene I was not expecting that help -
6. Tinted with You
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
This was really good! It had an interesting plot and Spoilers: I'm so happy it had a happy ending even if it was brief. I wanna know what happened in that two year gap :') All in all, a good watch.
-
7. Bad Buddy
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
LITERAL PERFECTION. THE BEST SHOW IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. I WOULD NOT CHANGE A SINGLE THING ABOUT IT. I HAVE NEVER LOVED SOMETHING THIS MUCH. AND WATCHING THE FINALE LIVE WITH MY FRIENDS WAS SO MUCH FUN WE ALL WENT CRAZY OVER IT. AND I SHOWED IT TO KAYLIE AS HER FIRST BL AND JUST- ABGSDH AND IM REWATCHING WITH MY BEST FRIEND. IT JUST HOLDS ALL THESE SPECIAL MEMORIES NOW. IT HAS SO MANY AMAZING PLOT POINTS AND TROPES. FRIENDS TO LOVERS, ENEMIES TO LOVERS, FORBIDDEN LOVE, SECRET DATING, ETC. IT HAD THE CUTEST GL PLOT. IT LEFT NO STRINGS UNTIED. LITERALLY EVERYTHING ENDED PERFECTLY AND I WOULD NEVER CHANGE A DAMN THING. THE WAY THEY ENDED EVERY STORLINE WAS PERFECT, THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. THEY EVEN DID A TIMESKIP THAT WORKED PERFECTLY FOR THE SHOW. I LITERALLY DETEST TIME SKIPS WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL AND YET I LOVED THIS ONE. ART, I TELL YOU. ART.

8. Behind Cut
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
I really liked the general vibe but overall it kind of fell flat. The acting was really good though. But omg. Missed opportunity. That would have been the perfect throuple. Why were they not a throuple. Fuck the love triangle just be a throuple. You all had so much chemistry. THROUPLE.
-
9. Hello, Me!
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
I have never binge watched a full length Kdrama this fast before. I got so hooked and kept wanting to know what was gonna happen next. Not to mention, it actually managed to hold my attention which is very rare these days. But omg, this drama was seriously so deceiving. It started out "ooh funny drama, maybe a little heart warming here and there" and ended up being "ooh funny drama OMG IM CRYING and WHAT OMG WHATS GONNA HAPPEN NEXT" The family and friendship things were just so amazing. The romance was great. And the commentary on self love, and trauma, and loss, and forgiving yourself, and finding a way to change the way you were in the past without hating the person you were. It was seriously so well done. Plus I loved how they literally showed what happened to every single character at the end. For a person like me who NEEDS to know, it was very satisfying lol.
-
10. All of Us Are Dead
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
I cried TWO HOURS STRAIGHT bc of the ending of this fucking show. They TORE my goddamn heart out, ripped it to pieces and and stomped on it for good measure. Like jesus. I'm never gonna recover *sobs*
All in all it was pretty good. It had some boring parts but overall it was good and interesting. I liked that we got to see what was happening everywhere instead of just sticking to the school. I always want to know what's happening everywhere so that made me happy. I also like how they had the butterfly effect going (short term anyways). Often when something happened, it would lead to something else happening a few episodes later and the way they did it was super cool, I really enjoyed that. They did a great job with characters too (to much so bc then IT DESTROYS YOU WHEN THEY KILL THEM OFF) anyways yeah
-
11. Always
Korean Movie - 2011
Boring and kind of a waste of time. I barely paid attention. The only reason I watched the whole thing was bc I felt like crap and didn't feel like getting up. It was a nice story and all, just not my thing I guess. Or maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it.
-
12. User Not Found
Korean Drama - 2021, 22 episodes
Jinyoung? Great acting. Plot? Mediocre. Romance? Decent I suppose. Friendship? SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GL THEY WERE IN LOVE OKAY. THEY. WERE. IN. LOVE. IM SO MAD THIS WASNT A GL. SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SOOOO MAD THEY ARE IN LOVE DAMNIT
-
13. Behind Cut (Movie)
Korean Movie - 2022
Still should have been a throuple
-
14. Love and Leashes
Korean Movie - 2022
This was a really good movie! Kept me entertained throughout which is very rare for me these days. The romance was really cute and the social commentary on sexism was great. Not to mention the sex/kink positivity. All in all it was a pretty good watch.
-
15. Kissable Lips
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
I literally don't even know what to say :'))
-
16. Drama Special Season 7: The Legendary Lackey
Korean Special - 2016, 1 episode
This was so stupid. It was well filmed, and the acting was good but the comedy and plot was just so dumb. Just really not my thing. Also there's a rumor that it was set up as a BL but with the wrong guys like why would he end up with the bully when the other guy helped and protected him wtf. Anyways, waste of my time
-
17. Best Mistake
Korean Drama - 2019, 15 episodes
Your average high school cheesy romance web drama. Sometimes I like them and sometimes, like in this case, I find them pretty mediocre. Did not hold my interest whatsoever. I also only watched bc Keum is in the next two seasons ehehe. And Hyunsuk is in S3. So I'm really just here for them lol.
-
18. Semantic Error
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
New fave K-BL and 4th fave Kdrama overall this was a MASTERPIECE. The acting, the plot, the OST, the cinematography, the general vibe, the settings, the characters, all SUPERB. The romanceeee. Don't even get me started. My only complaint would be that they didn't give us hours worth of them being cute. 10/10. Also in love with the female characters (one of them liked my comment on her insta post not to brag)
-
19. Oh! Boarding House
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
This was difficult to form an opinion on. Overall it was pretty mediocre. The romance was cute but nothing special and the actors seemed a bit awkward with each other. I liked the character dynamics. The humor was dumb and the plot itself was lacking. Overall it wasn't great but it also wasn't bad? About as middleground as you can be lol. So an 8, as I usually give my "it was good but not great" shows
-
20. So I Married an Anti-Fan
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
This was actually really close to being a 9. There was a lot I liked about it, especially stuff like how the couple acted. It was such a nice change from the usual kdrama tropes. For example the FL never got upset over the ML being close with his ex, or worrying about her. And he never doubted her with stuff. They fully trusted each other and had a really good dynamic. The beginning was boring though and I didn't like FL's weird attitude towards how men 'should act with each other.' Some of it felt borderline homophobic. But overall I liked it. It was kind of addicting and I watched it a lot faster then I usually do Kdramas and I was somewhat sad to see it end. I honestly would have liked more. So yeah, 8.5. Pretty good.
-
21. Tinted with You (Movie)
Korean Movie - 2022
<33
-
22. First Love Again
Korean Drama - 2022, 6 episodes
This was pretty cute. I liked it a lot more then I thought I would.
-
23. Not Me
Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
It was literally so good and then it kind of fell flat by the end. Like super anticlimactic. The finale was boring to me. I loved a lot about this drama however, especially the message. It made me cry in parts, and the soundtrack and cinematography were so fantastic. The overall vibe was incredible.
Spoilers: JUSTICE FOR TODDBLACK
-
24. Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko 2
Japanese Special - 2022, 1 episode
Okay now give me Season 3, you can't just keep leaving me in suspense *sobs*
-
25. You're My Sky
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Just finished bingeing this and I am a WRECK. So good. I am obsessed with childhood friends to lovers and sports drama so it all worked very well in my favor. There's a lot that could have been improved about it but there was enough there that I loved to make up for it. I really loved the sports aspects and the drama around it. i.e injury, different opportunities, jealousy, etc. I loved the dynamics for the most part and the cinematography was excellent. The vibes were great too. I didn't like super love any of the couples lol but I got really invested in their storylines, mostly the main couple bc they made it so interesting. SPOILERS I was mad at first that they got together so quick bc I like slowburns but the way they went from there made sense. It was all very well done in that area. Some of the couple scenes were kind of awkward for me so I just kind of skipped past those haha. I'm not a fan of those types of scenes to begin with and the way they filmed them was a bit weird to me. The acting was really good for the most part. There were some here and there that I wasn't really a fan of but the best I thought was the actor that played Thorn. He did a really great job expressing his emotions, especially his agony over his injury, his pain over his relationship and the rage and resentment that took over him and the increased pain that that caused him. There were also a lot of likeable characters and some nice sweet moments. The ending was good too, and I loved the parallels with the beginning of the series. They did really well with the time skips too bc I usually hate them but with this they were clearly a necessity for the development of the plot, characters and relationships between the characters. It was all really well done and it was so much fun to watch. I got really into it. It was dramatic and emotional and even made me cry a few times, and If it can make me feel real emotion like that then they're definitely doing something right.
-
26. Nitiman
Thai Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
I started this on a total whim. Here I was, avoiding the Enchante finale (still am) bc I don't want it to end, suffering from the sadness of finishing You're my sky and waiting for the new Cutie Pie episode and what do I do? I try to watch Golden Blood. Mistake. Then what do I do? Try watching this. First 5 episodes were not good. I barely paid attention but then 6 and up were really good and had my full attention. I got invested and I really enjoyed it. The couple was honestly so cute and fairly healthy. Overall it's pretty mediocre and lacking but the enjoyment factor was pretty high for me. I'm really sad to finish it :'))
We were ROBBED of Jay and Song
-
27. Blueming
Korean Drama - 2022, 11 episodes
Thank you Zen for recommending this *sobs* Literally so fucking good. The cinematography was so amazing. The acting was superb, the plot and vibe. The THEMES. Pain being different to each person and shouldn't be compared. Self image, love and acceptance. The romance was incredible. Literally omg this was a masterpiece. Every scene was shot so well and added so much to the story. I loved it.
-
28. Cherry Blossoms after Winter
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Pretty good! Questionable camera angle and audio choices at times but good acting, good ost, nice cute vibe. I remember liking the webtoon (although I dropped it when it got too sexual. Luckily this drama adaptation stayed (mostly) innocent.) I liked the friendships a lot. The mom was meh for me. Overall, pretty good. Pacing left a bit too be desired as well I might add.
-
29. Kamisama no Ekohiiki
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
im CRYING. This was the most amazing, fantastic, emotional and beautiful queer coming of age drama ever like omg. The THEMES. The EMOTIONS. The CHARACTERS. The OPENING. The ROMANCE. So so so so so so so SO good. Found family, friends to lovers, self image, dreams, regrets, hidden feelings, self-acceptance and discovery, this drama has it all. It's a beautiful beautiful drama. Choosing to be yourself and love who you love in a world that might not otherwise accept you. That's what this drama is about.
-
30. Legend of Yunze
Chinese Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
Omg this was so good. It was so high quality?? and I loved seeing these two together again. They're so cute together I love them so much
-
31. Legend of Yunze Special
Chinese Special - 2021, 14 episodes
This was even better omggg (probably bc I prefer modern day to historical haha) they're seriously so cute. And im still in love with both of them. New fave GL series for sure. They're so <3333333
-
32. Cat in the Eastern Palace
Chinese Movie - 2020
The cat/human concept romance is as odd as always. I watched a BL with a cat/human romance too so- Whatever I guess lol. But anyways, this was cute but ofc far too short. They had to rush an entire plot into 7 minutes but to be fair they did a good job of it and it was high quality.
-
33. Business Proposal
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Started out pretty good, kept making me laugh. Then it got a bit less interesting, then it got pretty boring. Picked up a bit around episode 11 and then got boring through the end lol. But it was an alright watch. I was entertained for the most part. It helped that the leads were hot haha. Also very cliché but they did that on purpose and didn't make it terrible so I won't criticize on that
-
34. Enchanté
Thai Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
I AM A FUCKING WRECK. SO I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH THIS DRAMA FOR MONTHS NOW. LITERALLY THE OPENING SONG IS LITERALLY MY 12th MOST PLAYED SONG ON SPOTIFY EVER AND THIS SHIT JUST AIRED (I'm also currently listening to it as I cry and write this). I LOVE THEM SO FUCKING MUCH. I PUT OFF WATCHING THE FINALE FOR SO LONG BC I DIDNT WANT IT TO END AND I FINALLY JUST WATCHED IT (after re-watching the other episodes) AND I LITERALLY WILL NEVER RECOVER. THAT ENDING FUCKING DESTROYED ME. I'M NEVER GONNA RECOVER FROM THIS BEAUTIFUL DRAMA. FRIENDS TO LOVERS SUPREMACY YET AGAIN.
-
35. Cutie Pie
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
SynNuea SAVED this show for me. It started out pretty good, I got totally hooked. But then it got kind of boring and frustrating and then it had sooooo much filler that was literally just kissing. All in all, I did enjoy it and I liked the commentary in favor of marriage equality. And the friendships were so cute omg. Diao and Kuea <333 So yeah, 8/10. Probably leaning more towards a 7.5 then an 8.5. If it was all SynNuea it would be a 10/10 though. They deserved so much more screentime.
-
36. Falling into Your Smile
Chinese Drama - 2021, 31 episodes
This started out really good and then it somehow managed to get so boring like omg. Still it was enjoyable overall.
-
37. Ocean Likes Me
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Holland >>>> His first acting role (besides the cameo in that one web drama) was so goooood. He did amazing, I love him so much. And he and Han Gi-Chan had a lot of chemistry! I didn't think they would when I first heard the casting but I was surprised. Han Gi-Chan is such a good actor, and totally suited the character to suit Holland's character so the dynamics ended up working out really well. The plot and production was nothing special but it had a nice feel to it and Holland's OST is so good.
-
38. KinnPorsche Side Story
Thai Special - 2022, 1 episode
I LOVE THEM
-
39. Love Class
Korean Drama - 2022, 6 episodes
This was really cute! Not the most interesting thing in the world, but it had it's charms. The romance was sweet but was a bit lacking for me. It wasn't very developed on the one guy's part. He went from laughing at how they 'seemed like a couple' to suddenly liking him, it just felt a bit rushed, or maybe they just didn't portray it well enough. Still, I enjoyed it. And the friendship with the girl was really sweet although I think he should have dated her too. Polyamory is always an option guys TT
-
40. Cupid's Last Wish
Thai Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
Once again I have Liah to thank for convincing me to watch this. I was so skeptical of this. Like I detest body swaps (except for Kamisama no Ekohiiki <33) and him being in his sisters body?? like ew. BUT THEY DID IT SO WELL. It wasn't at all weird and they made it 100% not seem like just watching a het romance. The acting was incredible. MixEarth's chemistry has gotten even better since Tale of thousand stars and you could tell how much more comfortable they are with each other. And don't even get me started on JAN. God, she's incredible. Every scene where she played as Win was amazing. Her and Mix's acting for Win was identical I was in awe the whole time. The entire vibe of the show was so nice and calming, and I loved the OST. It had just the right amount of angst and the friends to lovers theme was >>>> It was seriously so perfect. Would absoutely reccomend.
-
41. We Are All Soft Hearted
Taiwanese Movie - 2020
ow :')
-
42. Baker Boys
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
LITERALLY THE BEST FOUND FAMILY THEME EVER. THE TEARS I SHED I SWEAR- I decided to give this a try because I really liked Antique Bakery but I dropped it after about two episodes bc I thought it was too comedic and they weren't taking things seriously but thank fuck I was convinced to continue and LITERALLY OMG IT WAS SO GOOD AND DRAMATIC AND EMOTIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL. The themes on trauma and letting yourself heal!? And all the fucking relationships especially Weir and Punn. The love they have for each other i- Literally I love it so fucking much.
-
43. Dear Doctor, I'm Coming for Soul
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
HOW THE ACTUAL FUCK DO I EVER EMOTIONALLY MENTALLY PHYSICALLY AND SPRITUALLY RECOVER FROM THIS. I HAVE NEVER CRIED THIS FUCKING HARD OVER A SHOW BEFORE. NEVER. NO SHOW HAS EVER DESTROYED ME THIS HARD (well, maybe.. idk) I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHETHER IM HAPPY OR SAD ALL I KNOW IS THAT IM SOBBING. I COULD BARELY SEE THE SCREEN. I FELT LIKE I WAS GONNA PUKE FROM CRYING. HOW DO I GO ON LIVING WHILE FEELING LIKE THIS. HOW DO I EVER MOVE ON. HOW. HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOWHOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW

44. Fukou-kun wa Kiss Suru Shikanai!
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Hmmmm idk how I felt about this one. It was enjoyable but it felt so lacking and there was a lot about it that I just found dumb. I didn't care for the acting that much AND THEY TEASED A GL PLOT AND THEN DIDN'T GIVE IT TO US LIKE WTF WAS THE POINT. And there were so many things I thought they would show that they didn't so the ending felt so empty and lacking. They tried for a nice theme about embracing luck and finding positivity in the negativity and did okayyy but it didn't quite get there for me. Overall, as I said it was entertaining and cute in bits so I enjoyed it alright for a one time watch.
-
45. Sh**ting Stars
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
This was pretty alright for a one time watch! A little cheesy at times and sometimes boring but overall it was entertaining. It had some cute moments and some funny moments. I got invested in the plotlines and all the characters were likable and had their own vibe and personality. No one felt too lacking. I also really liked the character dynamics within their relationships with each other: romantic, friendship, manager/idol, etc. I'll kind of miss watching it every week
-
46. Legend of Yunze Season 2
Chinese Drama - 2022, 15 episodes
GIVE ME SEASON THREE RIGHT NOW. MY GIRLLLSSS. Literally it has such an interesting plot while being dramatic and really romantic and the production and costume design is literally so good. I love this series.
-
47. Yumi's Cells
Korean Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
I didn't really have any expectations for this one but it ended up being so good. I can see why it got so popular now. I got really invested. At first the animated cell storyline felt weird to me but it ended up appealing to me and I found it really interesting how they used that to portray our inner thoughts and functions. It was half the fun of watching this. Definitely a good watch. Held my attention pretty well and I even binged it in like 3 days.
-
48. Plus & Minus
Taiwanese Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
This was so cute ahhhh im crying. Best friends to lovers >>>
-
49. Old Fashion Cupcake
Japanese Drama - 2022, 5 episodes
This was unexpectedly pretty good. I decided to watch it bc I was bored and found it randomly and I ended up enjoying it a lot. Although the plot wasn't anything special, it had a certain charm to it. The vibe was nice, the acting was good and I really liked the dynamics between the leads. It got especially good right near the end, and surprised me with more emotion than I was expecting this drama to have. Overall it was a pretty good watch although I don't see myself rewatching any time soon or possibly ever.
-
50. Plus & Minus Extra
Taiwanese Special - 2022, 1 episode
OMG This was so fucking cute
-
51. KinnPorsche
Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes
I hated it, 10/10. Perfection. Now never do this to me ever again, thanks.
-
52. Triage
Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes
FUCKING MASTERPIECE. Watching this and KinnPorsche at the same time almost back to back was brutal though lol. Literally i just- omg. Everything was so good. The characters, the romance, the themes, the plot. It totally draws you in and gets you completely invested and dying (lol, lot of that in this show) to know what's gonna happen next. I'm a big fan of the butterfly effect and this show revolved around that which only made me love it more. And yeah fine the ending was a bit rushed and slightly messy as people have been saying but only a tiny bit and it was so good it honestly doesn't at all make a difference for the overall quality of the show. It was so well done, the emotions were so well delivered. It was so unique for a BL. On average we don't get many like these where it's not entirely romance focused and has an entire intricate plot along with it. I can only name like 5 off the top of my head that also did this and did it well. As much as I love romance, I really love seeing dramas like this. We have a lot of heterosexual dramas out there with really unique plots along with romance but with BL it's often just that, a romance. So I really enjoy seeing shows like these that don't just put it's entire focus on "hey this is gay watch them kiss lol". I absolutely loved it and am now in the process of forcing all of my friends to watch it too.
-
53. Yumi's Cells Season 2
Korean Drama - 2022, 14 episodes
Noooo why did it have to end. I need season 3 omfg.
-
54. Star and Sky: Sky in Your Heart
Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
I actually dropped this really quickly after starting it, because I thought it was boring (in my defense the first ep kind of was) but I continued thanks to Zen (<3) and ended up loving it. It was seriously so cute. I wish it had been longer, I'm really gonna miss it :') It wasn't super amazing but it had a really nice vibe to it and I ended up really enjoying the couple dynamic. The OST was good too. The village felt very reminiscent of tale of a thousand stars so I liked that too. Overall it was pretty simple, but in a good way.
-
55. Koisenu Futari
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
This was so amazing and beautiful. This is the most represented I've felt in media. I kept crying because everything they talked about were things that I myself felt or things I have gone through. I'm so happy that something like this exists.
-
56. Miracle
Korean Drama - 2022, 14 episodes
Watched this for Chani and Hwiyoung (they both did so good and it was so nice to see them in lead roles). Overall it was fairly mediocre for me, a little boring. It had a strong first episode but went a bit downhill from there. I did like the ending (I'm telling myself they became a throuple) and I liked all the relationships within this. Overall it was a decent watch, and I definitely did enjoy it to a certain extent.
-
57. Even Sun
Thai Drama - 2022, 6 episodes
Literally they didn't developed anything. Like literally nothing happened. They established like the basic plot, then for the next 4 episodes nothing happened and then suddenly BAM they're in love. And there was so many unnecessary things as well, and random details/plot points they included and then didn't establish any further? Like they just randomly inserted shit. I love BounPrem so much, so it was so disappointing seeing them in such a lame drama.
-
58. Love Mechanics
Thai Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
I waited two entire years for this and it didn't disappoint. The en of love series was mediocre at best but VeeMark was the best thing to come out of it. I LOVED their storyline. When they announced they were getting a full series I didn't think it would actually happen. Especially when it took so long but it DID. And god the full series is just so much better. They actually give the characters more.. well, character. They gave Vee so much development and really showed what kind of person he is. They gave their romance way better development. It was seriously so good. There were definitely a few things that bugged me and brought it down to a 9 but it's hard to love every single thing about a show. Overall, i really loved it and I can't beileve after 2 years its here and now it's already gone.. Gonna cry now lol. Not that the show itself didn't already make me cry numerous times. ALSO THE OST IS SO GOOD I'VE HAD IT ON REPEAT FOR 2 MONTHS. Mist by Silly Fools and Zeal is ELITE. Anyways...
-
59. Senpai, Danjite Koidewa!
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
So incredibly boring
-
60. Extraordinary Attorney Woo
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
I wasn't going to watch this at first. There were a lot of mixed opinions about the accuracy of the show. A lot of people seemed to settle on saying that although it wasn't fully accurate, there was a lot they could relate to and they were glad to see Korea representing Autism. Although they wished for the actress they cast to play the role was actually neurodivergent. In any case, I ended up watching it in the end, and I ended up really liking it. The romance was good, the characters were good although I think they made the main character characterized entirely around her having autism. As people said, its a good start for representation but I definitely thought it fell flat in truly representing someone who is neurodivergent. Effort was clearly put into it however, and it was nice to see. I really liked how each episode had a story with new characters and issues. They even had an LGBT storyline <3. I liked the social commentary on things and the family and friendship themes. Overall I think it was a really good show. I got way more into it then I thought I would. I'm looking forward to season two and hoping they go even further with what they've started and take into account feedback they've gotten from neurodivergent viewers.
-
61. My Secret Love
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
This was so good omfg agdghfagahfg it kind of has older BL vibes but in a good way and actually done correctly idk how to describe it. It was kind of simple and slightly too fluffy but it in a very good way. Kind of a breath of fresh air in-between the other stuff I've been watching lol. The acting was really good which I definitely wasn't expecting. The only actor I knew was Earth and it seemed to me like he's improved a lot since the last time I saw him. This character also suited him a lot better then the one he played in 2moons. I'm happy to see him doing well. I enjoyed all 4 couples equally which was another plus about the series. Often when a series tries to have multiple couples it gets messy. One might be boring, another too rushed. Some barely get shown, others get shown too much. But for these 4 couples they actually balanced it out so well I was impressed. They all had really good dynamics and they were all different so none of them felt boring. All the friendships were really cute as well, the entire thing was just cute. But then it also had a nice little dash of angst and a few not so innocent scenes among the fluff that took me by surprise lol. But again, the acting was so good for those. They weren't awkward to watch at all, they were all really comfortable with each other so that was also nice to see. It was really such a nice watch and I really enjoyed it. My only complaint would be that Mek and Kim's sisters should have gotten together TT they had so much chemistry they would have been so cute ughhh

62. Mama Gogo
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
I really didn't think this was gonna be anything special. I figured it was just a dumb comedy serving viewers with sexy men. And, in some aspects it was lol. But omfg that's like the surface of the iceberg you see from the water and then there's just so so so much more to it beneath the waves (don't judge my dumb ice metaphor it's 6 AM okay) I sobbed over this so many times. Like actual sobs. There was just so much to it, so many emotions, so much drama and conflict and the way it all ended was beautiful and so well done (albeit kind of unrealistic but hey we don't watch dramas for realism) The friendships, the romance, the found family, the mother/daughter/sister themes all of it. The character development, learning how to be a better person. Becoming that person, and finding happiness through the people around you who love you. Finding people who care about you. It was seriously just all so amazing. I highly recommend this drama.

63. Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai
Japanese Drama - 2022, 4 episodes
Okay I see the vision. I see what they were going for with this but it didn't entirely work for me. It fell a tiny bit flat for me. They went for that soothing calm vibe that you can see in Blueming and such but in their attempt, they ended up with a somewhat boring final product. The acting was good, and I appreciated the plot of what they were going for but as an avid childhood friends to lovers fan this was disappointing for me. I have very specific reasons for loving the genre, and this satisfied none of them. Regardless, it was overall a sweet short drama and made me smile and it definitely wasn't bad. Depending on the person this could be considered a really good drama. I just wasn't the target audience this time.

64. Girlfriend Project Day 1
Korean Drama - 2022, 4 episodes
WHY WAS IT SO SHORT. WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE LESBIANS. LET THE PEOPLE HAVE THE WLW WE WANT. Anyways, it was excellent I loved it and I'm so glad it exists even if it was so very very short. The plot, acting and quality were all really good. Like genuinely so much potential if it had just been longerrrrr.

65. About Youth
Taiwanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
This was so good. The vibes, the acting and the ost were all immaculate. It had such a nice charm to it, watching it was like.. soothing. It just leaves you with a happy feeling. The struggles of youth, innocent love, learning how to be your own self. I really loved everything about it.

66. Vice Versa
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
BL MUTIVERSE
I loved this show so much. It was beautiful and cinematic. The color theory used to match the mood of each episode along with the overall vibe and theme of the show was fantastic. The acting was amazing and the romance was so good. I really got invested in the plot. I would say the last like two episodes were frustrating however as the ending seemed messy to me. They didn't ever actually clarify how the stuff that happened, happened. So the end definitely left a bit to be desired but beyond that I loved it, especially the first half. also JIMMY UGHHHHH he's so fucking sexycsaujhgsbvdbsa

67. Alice, the Final Weapon
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
yikes. This was just... not good. I thought it seemed interesting and the kind of dark fiction theme I'm obsessed with but just no. I don't know if it was the plot, or the style or everything. I just didn't really like it. I only watched the whole thing because it was short and I had nothing else to watch. Definitely not worth the time. I wasn't at all invested.

68. Once Again
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
This was alright but could have been wayyyy better. I wasn't invested and I barely paid attention. I liked the ending (strange as that sounds) Not a time travel person usually so maybe that was part of it as well

71. The Eclipse
Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Literally so good, I loved it so much I got so obsessed. I'm so deeply in love with Ayan, I even bought a hoodie to match his. I didn't however super care for some of what they did with the ending but I tried to ignore that and focus on how amazing the rest of it was. Loved Akk and Ayan so much and Akk's beautiful character development. So so good.

72. Roommates of Poongduck 304
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
SO GOOD OMG. I really didn't expect this to be so good. I liked these two actors in Kissable Lips but I wasn't a huge fan of the show because I'm just really not a fan of vampire plots so therefor I didn't really think I loved the actors but seeing them in this I realized how good of actors they are and how much chemistry they have. They act so well together. And the plot of this was so good and cute I loved it so much. Their development was amazing and just ughhh. So good. So cute.

75. My Only 12%
Thai Drama - 2022, 14 episodes
The cutest shit I've ever fucking seen but after such a long and amazing slow burn they suddenly kind of rushed it. I was looking forward to seeing (SPOILERS) Cake like slowly get jealous and realize he loves Eiw but instead he didn't even have like the iconic "oh" moment. He just suddenly was "yeah i love Eiw" so as cute as it was, that kind of disappointed me as an avid friends to lovers angsty slow burn fan. Santa and Earth once again proved their amazing acting and chemistry. The emotions were amazing, the scenes with Eiw realizing he's gay and coming out to his sister were especially beautiful to me (as I could relate lol) and I think I could appreciate the scene a lot more as well with the actor actually being gay himself. I could feel more connected because it wa Earth and I knew that he really understood the emotions he was portraying whereas others might not have been able to. The plot overall was very well done, and there were so many little details I adored, especially the details between Cake and Eiw. The way you could really see all the ways they showed their love for each other. It came across as a very sweet and innocent romance and then slowly matured into a more intense romance with the portrayal of the deep and unconditional love they came to have. My most favorite scene portrayed that perfectly (I ofc mean Cake's "I love everything about you" speech) I do have several complaints (hence why this got a 9.5 instead of a 10) one being: the inclusion of a completely unnecessary age inappropriate relationship. I don't care if they waited until it was legal, it still felt completely weird to include it at all, let alone dividing it up in such an awkward way between the time skips. The second one would be the plot regarding Eiw's mother only being in the final two episodes. It didn't make sense to suddenly shove it into the end like that. It felt unnatural and insincere to the storyline.

76. Love in the Air
Thai Drama - 2022, 13 episodes
I never in a million years would have watched this usually. I saw clips on tiktok, thought it looked cute and then after taking one look at who made it, vowed to never watch it. However, as it turned out my friends all ended up caving and watching it themselves and getting hooked and telling me that it was good. And so I, obviously, caved as well. It started out as a hate watch. I genuinely hated it at first. I thought it was a dumb plot, wayyyy too many fan service scenes (that one is still very true. I had to skip through so many lol) but somewhere in there as I continued to "hate" watch... I realized I didn't hate it. In fact, I realized that I was looking forward to it every week. Without meaning to i got super into it, and adored Rain which is probably a big part of it. Rain and Payu were just too cute and they won me over. As for the second storyline, I was happy ofc to see something represented that usually gets ignored (TW) things that happen to women, when it happens to men it often gets ignored. However, as the storyline was coming from M*me I can not support it. As she has previously romanticized it in both Love By Chance and TharnType, I cannot trust that she wrote it in with good intentions. I did enjoy Sky and Pai beyond that. Their storyline was sweet as well. I also loved Rain and Sky's friendship. Overall I had the usual issues I have with most BL, such as the weirdly forced dynamics between couples which was unsurprising bc again, M*me. The acting was amazing though, and it was cute enough to drag a reluctant 8/10 from me which is my average "it was pretty good but not great" rating. Fuck M*me though

78. Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!: The Movie

Cute! I enjoyed seeing them again, and seeing past where the series ended. I especially enjoyed the character development on Adachi's part. The confidence he gained as well as learning how to communicate with others better without his powers

79. Star and Sky: Star in My Mind
Thai Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
I held off on watching this for so long because I was such a big fan of Joongnine that I knew seeing Joong with someone else would make me sad and make me miss them and miss seeing Nine. But eventually I had to give in, I knew it would have to be time to let them go. And so I did, and watched this. And omg, I really loved it. For one, you could really see the improvement of Joong's acting. I really enjoyed the plot and they had great chemistry, they acted very well together. The pacing for what the plot was was actually really good. Usually for a plot like this the pacing is often weird, too fast in parts or major plot points get spread out in weird ways. That's always a HUGE pet peeve with me for dramas. I really like good pacing and I thought this one was well done. The plot itself, beyond the pacing, wasn't anything special. It wasn't anything that hasn't already been done before. But although it wasn't anything new, it still managed to come across as entertaining and interesting. I still got very invested into the plot regardless of seeing stories similar to it before. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I decided to watch it afterall.

81. Weak Hero Class 1
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
I really wanted to like this. I love Park Jihoon and I love dark themed plots so I really thought I would. Instead I was incredibly bored and had to force myself through it. This series has gotten so many compliments and I really don't get why. Besides the acting, which was very good, the rest was just... idk. Left a lot to be desired. The plot was so dumb to me too. Like there were so many issues I had with it. It all just seemed too ridiculous, too over the top. It's like they tried to make something like D.P. but they tried too hard and instead of capturing the dramatic spine chilling feeling, they made it seem stupid. I just couldn’t bring myself to like it. I didn't even get into the bromance and that's really saying something because normally I would be obsessed lol

83. War of Y
Thai Drama - 2022, 20 episodes
This series was incredible. I couldn't even classify it as a BL. That wasn't the purpose of it. It wasn't a romance. This series was a psychological dark fiction drama. It took the BL industry and peeled back its skin and showed the truth. From the fans, to the managers, to the actors, to the writers, the producers, the directors, they showed it all. They took four stories and gave us a real look at what the industry does to people. The ugly truth and the twisted beauty in that truth. While doing all that they gave us incredible in depth characters and storyline, making us all the more invested, making it feel all the more real. It became a soap opera, a tragic romance, a reality show, a documentary. It all came together. I haven't felt this passionate writing a review for a series in a long time. It truly blew me away.
