Watched BL Shows: Thailand Edition

TIPPITY TIPPITY TOP TOP Tier right here. First BL I can rewatch over and over and not be bored! The friendships were great, the couples had fire chemistry and VERY spicey scenes, the storylines were very interesting.

Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was the sudden jump to a new couple halfway through. I just wasn't ready to end our time with the first couple. I wish we could have had a whole series with each couple, they were both so interesting!

Enjoyed: Dark beginning to the relationship. Great friend group. I flippin loved Mark (War). Fantastic lead couple! It was very binge worthy! Enemies to Lovers.

Disliked: How long it took for him to let someone go.

I have no idea how this show has such a low rating! HILARIOUS, I cried laughing. An amazing cast, amazing group of friends, good main couple, hilarious side couple.  The chemistry of the couple was good and even better looking back with a better understanding of thier feelings (something gets sorted out in the last episode that helps us understand everything). 

Tropes: First loves, Friend to lovers

One negative could be there were a few locked lipped kisses & a cut out xx scene but nothing spicy. But I think it was enough for this show, it didn't feel lacking because of this.

Also it's a bit dark so stay clear if that aint your bag.

Enjoyed: OffGun!! I felt every single thing Gun felt because he is an amazing actor! Very funny moments! The friends were AMAZING! Always love seeing the actor Mike as a best friend! Two was the BEST friend ever written in a BL! The way he protected Third and the moment they shared while Third was in the shower and Two just stood outside the door, being there for his friend. I loved how the relationship wasn't easy to achieve and had ups and downs.

Top Tier. Period.

Couples chemistry was fire. Lot's of happy romantic moments. Some nice spicy scenes.

Cooper is PERFECTION! This series was everything because of his character. He gave me Love Mechanics vibes and I was HERE FOR IT. We have that tough, hot, but soft side. Our side couples were interesting and I liked them BUT I am just not a fan of Ram and him being so quiet felt so awkward in this one. If it had been someone else it would have been better. ALSO Mek having a voice over, DESTROYED that couple. I skipped over majority of their parts, I probably would have enjoyed it a little if that wasn't the case, but it was also a weaker couple plot. I really loved this one though, I loved the friendships, loved the vibes. It was giving Love By Chance vibes, Poy is like Saint but with a little less acting skills. Which makes sense because that is literally the case. And Cooper's character is straight up Vee from Love Mechanics. They even look similar (which i flippin loved)

This was more a story of Tian's (Mix) life and growth as a person. It really did not feel like BL at all. Mix always comes out on top with his eyes, the looks he gives, the chemistry he brings to the table is FIRE... I am not a big fan of Earth, that being said after watching Moonlight Chicken and this one, I don't mind him anymore. BUT he does not bring any chemistry (besides in episode 1 of MC) and he seems to be the same flatish person in all the BL's. I still enjoyed this but I won't categorize this as BL in my mind. Watch this for Mix's F me eyes alone.

Slow burn, I LOVE BOUN, really gives the feelings of a real relationship developing.

The only time I cried in BL from a breakup. Great couple, real portrayal of jealousy.

SO CUTE, such a cute couple. 

Fav couple ever OffGun, hate to love, twin swapping places, darker story but not as gritty as I would have liked it to be.

This was a pretty good BL. I am a MIX fan through and through, he can do no wrong. His F me eyes are OUT.OF.THIS.WORLD. If he is in the picture he can make it seem like there is chemistry between him and ANYBODY. And with Earth, that is saying something! The storyline was fresh and unique, I loved how this played out. I enjoyed the first encounter. Mix's character was super interesting. I DIED for Heart & Li Ming, they were SO amazing. One of the best side couples I have seen since Duean&Meen in Fish Upon the Sky. I loved seeing Khaotoung and First but I think they didn't do their relationship enough justice. It was very rushed at the end. I think Mix and First's relationship in this one was heartbreaking, raw, realistic, and really hurt. I loved it.

Okay, take this one with a grain of salt. The steamy scenes were fantastic and I enjoyed the characters for the most part. BUT the plot was a bit weak, to easy, and at times childish. Worth a watch but I probably wouldn't have it on this list if it weren't for those smexy scenes.

Enjoyed: Win was perfection, had some cute moments, had some best friends that are actors we love. Fake boyfriends trope. 'Can I touch your boobs'. The character 'Green'.  Tine's brother heehee. 

Disliked: The chemistry was a little flat feeling. No intimacy after such a long show made it feel a bit unrealistic. 

Enjoyed: Marco (Daniel) was AMAZING, gorgeous eyes! The glimpse we got into the toxic part of BL

Disliked: There is an uncut version but it isn't subbed. This is an interesting story but I'm salty it wasn't easy to find to watch. 

Enjoyed: It was interesting to see how they earned their Gears, the friendships were nice to see as well. Kongpob had some super cute moments. "I'll make you my wife"

Disliked: I don't like Perawat, something about him just irks me. And as for this character, Arthit, I didn't believe for a second Kongpob would EVER want to be with him. Ever. The romance in this was very light compared to the story about how the school initiation goes, and that would have been fine, if the romance had been at all believable.

Enjoyed: I fell in love with Kim (Ton) wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for his beautiful eyes. 

Disliked: Don't believe the BDSM this sells, it's all lies. The mafia boss turned out to be a puppy. 

Ya'll don't ask me WTF this is, just know that Gun is in it, so I had to watch it.

The worst BL I have ever watched. Horrible transitions, boring couples, only one was decent because it had a DV storyline, an ex bf was abusing one of the guys in the new couple. Of course the guy who likes him left him alone with his abuser so... can't even really route for that couple either! A dramatic scene happened that really killed the show for me as well, it was so fake. And our main couple was a snooze fest, while one was written with emotion and acted it out well, the other talked about school and studying AND NOTHING ELSE.
