View's BL recs! (+ a bonus from Estelll :D)

5.7 - damn! It's giving short GL that was dragged through the mud bc the acting was shit and the plot was all over the place/non existent. But the first scathing review just tempts me more XD

7.1 - hesitant bc it's related to the infamous Hit Bite Love. But you say it's light, so I'll leave it here. I can always drop if needed!

7.4 - interestingly enough this feels familiar. Maybe the three siblings reminds me of The Three GentleBros, but apart from that I don't think this was on my radar. Apparently it's on my PTW - how do I manage to forget that! XD

7.5 - sounds like 44 minutes of pain and trauma. I have no idea when I'd ever feel like watching this. Then again, I didn't think I was ever going to get round to watching Hachiko Monogatari but on a whim I watched it recently!

7.5 - one of the lighter recs as per my request! :D

7.5 - this is linked to VIP Only and Anti Reset? I did not hear great things about those, but I'll give this a chance!

7.6 - slice of life in the first review makes me feel this was the best pick for my specific mood today! Also, it's childhood friends to lovers, which is another good sign!

Another one which I like that ends up at 6.5. Tbh, most of my loved 6.5 titles have the same issue I had with this - lighting and sound feeling iffy. The acting here wasn't notable either, except for some moments at the end.

7.7 - given by Estelll. It sounds warm and I wholeheartedly trust your recs so I'll give it a crack at some point! Maybe even soon, who knows!

7.8 - this one had an unreliable narrator right? I wonder how many times I'll roll my eyes while watching the lead's antics.

Many eyerolls later, I had to appreciate the show. I feel if we'd got Kiyoi's POV a little earlier and the music had been overall as good as Follow by Rosu (closing song) I would have had this as an easy 10! 9/10, bloody awesome! :D It pleasantly surprised me! The final film was 9.5 because I liked the growth and plots explored, with the 0.5 being cost by occasional colour issues I had!

7.8 - you know, the current synopsis sounds like it would put me off, but I'm certain had one or both of these J dramas on my PTW at some point. I remember some feeds hype for both though!

Yeah, this wasn't the toxic radioactive show I'd heard. It was solid, and while I cannot understand them, that's their dynamic. Fun OSTs also!

7.8 - Linked to You Are Mine, and I've already commented on that one above XD. I'm giving it a chance bc I haven't heard as much awful reviews as Anti Reset and VIP Only. Again, I trust your judgement here View, so I presume it'll be light! This is also already on my PTW funnily enough!

7.8 - the employees sound nosey I can't lie. I'm now very intrigued by this one. Does he mean no romance at all, or no workplace romance? Because I've seen the latter before, but the former is beyond stupid.

Chock full of cliches, but it was a good enough ride. I couldn't tear my eyes away from it, even if the overall quality wasn't good enough to pull the rating up. The music was the same overused OST and it drove me nuts, but the premise of the "office" being a metalworks shop was cool!

8.0 - I am going to watch this at some point where I'm ready to cry. No, I refuse to drop before the salt scene!

I teared up a bit at the end, but that's because I yawned. Full rant in the completed bit. Soz View, this wasn't it for me.

8.1 - weird concept but I'm very curious. I think you said this was similar to Kare no Iru Seikatsu (Living With Him) so I'll see if I like that first!

I get it. I get why it was high up the list. It's short, I side eyed it a lot but the acting was good and I liked some OSTs. But the concept is fun and my roman empire is the bilingual bridge confession scene! They even reference it in S2!

8.3 - plot feels familiar so I've almost certainly come across it before, but it's not on my PTW.

8.4 - I've heard glowing reviews on feeds and from friends, so I'm inclined to think I should save this for last otherwise I won't be able to look at the others the same way.
